Wheres my BS card?
There's no fugging way that is Tebow. Nobody, including Chuck Norris, could drive that spike into Tebow's foot.
Except Tebow.

I think I have to side with Bowden and say that Charlie Ward was a better QB than Tim Tebow is. Better arm, better runner, better athlete

only beause Tebow chooses not to pick up the round ball.

Re: Looks like Tebow may have hurt his right wrist
Yeah....you're right. According to ESPN should Tebow ever decide to hit the links, Tiger Woods has stated he would retire rather than suffer the humiliation and feelings of near ineptness vs. greatness such as that Tebow would bring to the game.Moby Dick wrote:TheJON wrote:FTFYSoCalTrjn wrote:I think I have to side with Bowden and say that Charlie Ward was a better PG than Tim Tebow is.

I hope Tebow dies in a car fire or at least gets photographed fucking a sheep or something.

ESPN has really ruined football. They have used their powers to convince this entire country that the only important position on the field is the quarterback and teams only win or lose because of the QB. I don't know if their attempts to do so are more pathetic than the fact that 90% of the tards in this country actually buy into that shit.

Is Chuck Long the best QB that Iowa's ever had?

In my lifetime, yes. I don't know how anyone could debate that. Some older Iowa fans might disagree.the_ouskull wrote:Is Chuck Long the best QB that Iowa's ever had?

What is your point?
Re: Looks like Tebow may have hurt his right wrist
Michael Crabtree sure wishes they were, and Darrius Hayward-Bey sure is glad at least one NFL team isn't.

So you're saying that the quarterback is all that matters??? That's what ESPN tries to make us believe. Please tell me you don't buy into that garbage, Mace.Mace wrote:Hmmm, it might have something to do with who signs the biggest NFL contracts too....ya think? The other thing is, c'mon, let's be realistic. If not the Yankees-Red Sox, then who?
Those two teams are nearly always in the thick of the pennant race, their stadiums are nearly always packed whenever they play each other, they have the most storied and passionate rivalry in all of baseball and they feature more stars than just about any other two teams can offer.
They also reside in the largest media market in the country, with the most TV viewing fans.
Who the fuck would YOU show, if you were an ESPN producer? Atlanta vs Milwaukee? Tampa Bay vs Toronto?

True. Or Dook-UNC.....Sudden Sam wrote:I love seeing the Sox and Yankees play, but I swear, if they could arrange it, ESPN would have them play each other 162 times a year!Papa Willie wrote:You can bet your ass that if ESPN had it's way, they'd jack off Rutgers and Syracuse more than anybody if either were actually worth a fuck. They've ALWAYS been homers - that's why in pro sports, it's NY/Boston and THEN everything else. Remember a few years ago when Rutgers was making a little run? You would have thought it was the second coming.
I used to love BSPN when I was younger, but they've become a complete joke anymore. It's a real shame. Remember when Sportscenter was great? You had great personalities like Kilborn, Patrick, etc giving you the sports highlights? Now you've got tards like Stuart Scott and Scott Van Pelt trying to act all "hip" and they barely even give you the highlights, they're too busy talking about stupid polls like "who is your favorite yankee of all-time?" or "how much better than Willie Mays is Derek Jeter?". Crap like this.
What happened? Somewhere along the lines they completely changed their approach and decided they were no longer going to give you just the games and the highlights and they were going to focus more on "entertainment" and gay shows like Around the Horn and PTI. And then they decided they weren't going to get real analysts, but instead hire clowns like Steve Phillips, Lee Corso, Digger Phelps, John Kruk, etc......these guys don't know jack fucking shit about anything. They're guys they hired that will say stupid shit and whack off constantly to the big market/name teams like the Yankees or Dook.
It's a shame we don't have a national sports network. All we get is the regional Fox Sports channels and the East Coast network known as ESPN. I'd like to see a true national network, but that will never happen because they couldn't ever compete with BSPN.

They do tend to suck Tebow off a little bit too much. Don't think they aren't trying to find a crack in TT's perfect world, though. They'd just love that shit.
Then why dont they do an expose on how much money Florida boosters are funneling to the Tebows through that church?

Urban Meyer is of high moral character. There's no truth in that.SoCalTrjn wrote:Papa Willie wrote:You can bet your ass that if ESPN had it's way, they'd jack off Rutgers and Syracuse more than anybody if either were actually worth a fuck.
