Kawakami: 49ers dominate Raiders

Some things never seemed to change.

NAPA — Call off the Raiders' search for a top receiver: JaMarcus Russell apparently is very comfortable throwing to Nate Clements.
Meanwhile, it was a trumpet-blaring event for the 49ers' defense, which turned Wednesday morning's two-team practice into Godzilla vs. Bambi.
Clements screamed it himself immediately after one of his three morning interceptions, "They can't compete with us!"

As the morning practice developed, it looked as if the Raiders' offensive players stopped even trying to compete.

This is going to be a very long season for the "quitters" from across the bay.

So is trash talking not allowed in the NFL Forum this year?

Preseason or not, let mfool have his time to brag about how is team looked in practice.

trash talking is allowed and encouraged -

I just want to get a feel from the board if we want posts like this - where a few links are tossed up and no real take is given.

Maybe they turn into something or maybe they're just clutter

It's your board - you decide

I am against clutter and have no problem trashing m2's threads. He only had 1 violation this week and that is manageable. If he starts spamming the button will be used.

Shit posts within a thread are ok.
They happen.

Shit posts to begin a thread should be shitcanned.

This is blatant trolling by a blatant idiot.

That's it, OK. You gotta do this for me. Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye."

Mostly, this place works fine and is more enjoyable when not over-moderated.

Hmm.... interesting.

Maybe it hasn't needed to be moderated much beacuse traffic is down.

Now that the season is starting back up, I think that changes -

This year, i'd like to see the new people stick around and some old ones come back.

I don't blame ya for not wanting to hear how bad your shit team is.... but, also I didn't want you to turn a blind eye to it either. I feel it's my duty living hear in the Bay Area to update you on your shit team every once in a while on how they're progressing. With 5 interceptions in just 2 quarters of play against a team that is average at best right now, I'm gonna have to give them an F+. I give them a plus as opposed to a minus... for the simple FACT that they found their helmets and pads and actually showed up to the scrimmage.

Speaking of interecptions... I caught this interview yesterday here in the Bay Area with Happy Meal. I thought I'd share it with you and maybe you can translate for me what he's trying to say... since I could barely make out a word "Mush mouth" was saying.

Thanks for your help.

IN

2ool, it was a fucking scrimmage.
Not EVEN a pre-season game.
It was a glorified PRACTICE.

lol

About Russell, I'm really not down with his act right now.

Is that a mohawk he's sportin'???

He still looks heavy to me.
Inexcusable.

As the QB, he needs to set the tone.

A team of fat circus clowns ain't the tone I'm lookin' for.

It's just a question of "does the fourm want Bobby42 threads started or not"?

Since this fourm has never been asked - I asked

Pop's

"As the QB, he needs to set the tone."

...as the QB, he has to have a glimmer of a clue...and he doesn't. Of course I couldn't understand half of what he muttered, but I got enough to know he's a single digit wunderlich for sure.

His take is that the Raiders are going to suck. It was pretty clear to me.

The intent of the take is clear - His starting a thread with nothing but links and quotes is the question before the board.

Maybe they'll also see nothing wrong with it - there's only one option in the poll that is actionable

I never heard what his 'lich score was, and I'd prolly just as soon not know.

Everything about Russell screams ... SLOW.

It concerns me.

He's young, yes, but aside from giving me a *WOW* moment every once in a while by firing a ball at missile speed, I don't see a whole lot that gives me comfort.

I've yet to see him draw a defense offside with a hard count.
I've yet to see him go BANG BANG BANG through his progressions and hit the third or fourth option and look SHARP doing so.
I've seldom (very) seen him quickly recognize that he's got a running lane and just TAKE OFF with the ball.

I just don't yet see him oozing much of a PRESENCE that makes the other guys want to rally around him.
But I dunno, I'm not in the huddle, either.

Russell DID show good composure many times last year, though, when he was behind a line that didn't protect him well.
He took his licks, didn't get perturbed, and didn't sulk or point fingers ... ever.
And he didn't throw many INTS at all.

The jury is out on him, for sure.

This year the big dummy needs to shit or get off the pot for a while and WATCH.

Count me in with the WGARA crowd... If you don't like it, don't read it.

What Trev said. Let the mods take out the trash when deemed necessary. Or if you're bored, Scotty, simply run the idiot flaming and screaming outta his own thread - it's not like you're not capable ('sup Hangy).

My $.02...

Just what the fuck do you think you have to say about it anyway? Under "Moderators" for this forum, I see two names- Trev and poptart. KC Blowhard is not listed there.

I have a suggestion for you: Let Trev & poptart make the decisions while you STFU. Sound like a plan?

Coods,

Would you like to moderate a fourm? We could start you off with something small, like the ween fourm, then let you work your way up.

Perhaps you'd evolve from being a douche.

Worth a try, Nes pa?

maybe the ween forum would be a better fit for you, KC Windbag- that is if you can spare the time away from wanna-be modding here.
