The best part about Holtz's schtick is that every year he gets up and makes a prediction like this and people go nuts. He loves shit like this.

Yeah, he's just trolling everybody. That's it. Sorry, but he gets too fired up and passionate about his takes for me to buy that; plus, he just isn't clever enough to pull the wool over all of America.

Sure he's not. Granted, he loves ND, but he gets off on this shit. Its the exact opposite of how he acted when he was coach.

I'm willing to bet his prediction came with about 6 oz of spit on the mike.

He's really on the same level as Lee Corso...a crazy old coot that's a former coach and is nothing more than a gimmick and shouldn't be taken serious. I'm not all that shocked that he'd say something like this.

It's just too bad because as a legend of the game you know he's got a wealth of football knowledge to share... but he'd rather be a cartoon.

I'm all for Notre Dame being overrated as much as possible and people overhyping them so that when they fall flat on their faces I get to see an awesome meltdown by their douchebag fans!

Good for you Lou.......keep the homerism up! Fire those Irish fans up!!
