Never been there, but I've been to more parties that they have catered than I could possibly count. Also, at my old place of employment they used to have Dinosaur brought in every Friday. Excellent food.

Possibly Syracuse's most well known commodity besides SU hoops.

Pretty damn good BBQ but kind of overrated if you ask me. I thought it was the best thing ever when I lived there but I've had better while living in NC or TX. It's kind of like having the best pizza place in Texas. Pretty damn good pizza but doesn't compare to the best pizza NY has to offer.

Yes and yes, to answer Sam's questions.

If you go, the one in Rochester has a bikers-and-blues sort of ambience.

You can also get Dinosaur BBQ sauce in most of the supermarkets around here.
