Random games thread
Michigan showing a lot of speed on both sides of the ball. They look pretty decent.
Re: Random games thread
i'm revising up. was thinking 7-5 or 8-4, but going with national champions right now.

Re: Random games thread
shite, who knows? This thing is wide open as far as I'm concerned.
Re: Random games thread
true. at least my team looks like a player. don't think we'll win the league but looks like we'll be pretty competitive. you don't know what a relief it is to have a qb on the roster who looks like he's had two arms his entire life.
Re: Random games thread
There could be a lot of national media members getting their knees dirty in South Bend with all of the cocksucking going after today's route of Nevada

Re: Random games thread
It's good to know Minny can barely scrape by a horrible SU team with a flopping PG for a quarterback. I'm going to laugh my nads off WHEN the Gophs beat the Urine Unis.
Re: Random games thread
The two kids at QB have looked very sharp. James threw out the comparison for Forcier to Jeff Garcia. It's a great comparison...down the uniform number. I think Forcier throws the ball better but isn't as physically tough as Garcia. Robinson is lightning quick and when he gets in space, he'll be tough to bring down. I'm going to temper my excitement until next week when they face the Irish. ND was on upset alert today but they're waxing Nevada right now.

Re: Random games thread
Mizzou looking fairly impressive, I must say. The defense has improved tremendously and sophmore Blaine Gabbert at QB is a star in the making.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Fuck Illinois in the earhole. Zookin themselves.
Still a half to go but if they can hang on or even stretch this lead, they should crack the Top 25 next week.
And for all those who took Illinois to cover in the pick'em....

Re: Random games thread
Yeah, Gabbert is working those sideline passes. This is the Illini defense in true form though.

Correct. ND was up 28-0 at the half, uM up 31-0 at the half, and PSU up 31-0 at the half, allover cupcakes...the first two had the 4-letters fawning.
Forcier seems tiny. I think he's going to get crunched this year.

Wow, watching Mizzou game and Zook's team looks very poorly coached. Georgia melting down big time. Missed chances to make plays. Some really bad football this opening weekend.

He will be. He knows this guy, name of Fred Heisman, and Fred throws a Heisman Trophy ceremony tv party every year, in Waterloo. Juice has an open invitation.

Re: Random games thread
This isn't Juice's fault. His team has quit on him. Not a surprise. Zook's teams tend to do that. Like I said, they were either going to be really good or really bad. They have the talent to be good but the coach to be really bad.

Re: Random games thread
And the middle, and short screens, and deep balls, and doing pretty much whatever the hell he wants to an Illini team has pretty much given up.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Yeah, Gabbert is working those sideline passes.
Still amazed they were a 6-1/2 point favorite when Mizzou has pwned them the last 4 straight, now make it 5. No wonder they want out of this series.
I guess the oddsmakers thought they had lost too much, 6 players taken in the NFL draft, but it's apparent they've just reloaded. They can now be considered a serious contender for the Big XII North Title when pre-season prognosticators were generously picking them 3rd.

And Oregon, Ohio State, Illinois, Georgia, Indiana, etc.

Kentucky played a pretty good game against Miami of Ohio. I hope they keep it up. :D
