Your teams cuts

Post by DallasFanatic »

Any surprises, questions for the front office, lay it out here.

I am stoked the Isaiah Stanback experiment is over. The dude has spent gravy training "potential" for the past couple years, and I am happy they stuck with Ogletree instead of him.

I would have rather seen Rudy Carpenter make the team over Stephen Magoo. Good ole Steve couldn't claim his starting spot in college after injury. What makes Jerry and Co. think he can make some noise in the NFL?

The Boys cut down to 52, which leaves them a spot open on the roster. I imagine this will be for a veteran free agent left tackle who is willing to back up Flozell. We are pretty weak there, and thats not a position you want to be weak at.

Now that this preseason is finished, I am down for the regular season. Bucmonkey, you still here?

Wow, Chiefs cut safety Bernard Pollard, one of the few players on D who actually hit and tackled ball carriers last year.

shocker.

Must've been a personality clash with the new regime, 'cause dude can most certainly bring the lumber.

Garcia being cut surprised me some, although he was hurt a little and didn't do much in the pre-season ... and he's old.

DT Terd Sands cut.

The turd has been flushed.

Good riddance, lazy fuck.

Pollard sucks. Always has, always will. HUGE liability in pass coverage. Hopefully the Mules will pick him up.

And, uh, may be calling you. If you can, please take your name off that and, um, and what do you call it just have it as a number on the voice mail, just have it as your telephone number. That's it, OK. You gotta do this for me. Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye."

The Raiders trade their 2010 First rd. pick to the Pats for Richard Seymour

Surprising deal on several fronts - is Seymour on the downhill slide or did NE just not want to pony up Haynesworth type money to re-sign him?

I can already see the Pats eyeing that top 5 draft pick and trading it down for more selections
