seems like being a Clemson fan is filled with expectations, heartbreak, and misery. for as much as they get talked about, they never climb out of the hole.

Clemson is the most overrated program, year in and year out, of my lifetime.

Possible, after the Danny Ford team that somehow beat Nebraska in 80? personally, for me, it was Syracuse in the 90's.

Donovon McNabb lost to John Blake. Game, Match, Set.

How could they be overrated this year? They were not even ranked.

When they're ranked people say watch out for Clemson.
When they're unranked people say watch out for Clemson.

Did you not watch the ACC last year? Just a continuation of crazy ass games.

BTW, Will it be another 30 years before Bama plays the Noles again?

And also, Will GT and Bama ever patch things up and get that rivalry going again?

Obviously, GT needed to watch out for Clemson because they about lost to the tiggers.

I guess only clemson can be overrated when unranked. Is there anything lower than unranked?

If Clemson is a favorite, bet against them.
If Clemson is a dog, bet for them.

Clemson hasn't been to a major bowl game in my lifetime. There are routine bottom feeders from other conferences like Kansas, Washington St, and N'western that have. Hell, Wake Forest was in the Orange Bowl 3 years ago. With all that talent and support for the program, they haven't managed to really even sniff a BCS bowl game. They couldn't do it in the ACC's leanest years, and they couldn't do it after FSU and Miami hit lulls. They've lost their last 3 consecutive bowl games to pretty mediocre competition.

When they're ranked, people say watch out for them and they bomb. When they're unranked you hear things like under the radar, or they'll surprise some people. Whatever.

Hey, that's just the view from my seats. You don't have to agree.

Isnt that what they did last night? They surprised people under the radar.

Did you watch the same game as we did last night?

Yeah, I did.

They got the shit kicked out of them, decided to pull their heads outta their asses and mounted a nice little comeback, then lost the game, rightfully so. Great. Good for them. Just another step on that neverending path to greatness: moral victories.
