Mizzou - Nevada in game

Post by War Wagon »

I hesitated to post this, because it's a no win situation for Mizzou.

Win big, that's what they're supposed to do. Ho hum.

Lose, or even have a close game... they must suck.

But it's the only game in town right now and at least deserves some nominal disdain.

just be glad you have "no win" situations. no one is scared of Missouri on the history angle.

that said: MIZ...

i almost posted twice about how MU wins when they stop the run. not been a strength under Pinkel. even when they sent front 7 guyus to the NFL.

more great D from Mizzou.

will MU be the team that finally takes the jake against "the pistol"...?

the last team that lined up and ran the ball at MU and lost was....who?

Mizzou looks unprepared, while Nevada looks otherwise.

Not sure what's going on here.

Maybe we do suck.

your offense looks good until the red zone. your defense looks all out suck.

your tight end is pretty tight. dude caught a helluva pass, got the shit knocked out of him twice, stayed on his feet and got 3 more yards.

Missouri should just line up and run the ball. if they can't do that against Nevada then what? we all know they can't stop the run.

there's no Maclin to save them.

not sure maclin is what they are missing. gabbert has had qute a few open receivers he could not hit in stride. the one great play was a scramble and throw up for grabs. great play but not precision by any means.

you can have 5 maclins but if you can't deliver on que then it doesn't matter.

Even among people I know who've lived there, I think I may be the only person on the entire planet who actually likes the city of Reno.

He's got a spread to think about.

Gotta admit. as much shit as i gave mizzou's run D early on, they have been solid since.

i'd say play action here and then run it out if it doesn't work/

It's weird to see them. They (MU) show flashes of good execution, but I'm seeing your offensive linemen fall down on several plays, getting pushed around. Gabbart has tools, but it's like he panics when the pocket collapses, which it has a lot this half.

I would say I like our chances at MU, but I think they'll play their best game against us.

the obvious difference between this misery team and last year is the dump off. daniel was great at dumping off to the 4th option safety once the pocket collapses. gabbert looks off one and sees the pocket collapse and throws it away without thinking of the check down.
