Texas 39 UTEP 7, Colt McCoy still playing

Post by King Crimson »

Mack is such a great guy he'd never run the score up...only Bob Stoops does that (the most evil, true spirit of sport hating man ever). this is a really important game for Texas Exes in the El Paso area. it's not a cupcake OOC game or a "traditional SWC rivalry"...

oh, it's 40-7 in the 2nd quarter. Mack is such a gentleman.

i will say, someone needs to learn how to tackle Shipley on returns.

did you know that he and Colt McMusbergerLove were friends as kids? and they room together. it's an amazing story that brings a tear to your eye.

47-7. Mack is such a sporting gentleman. the way he threw that TD pass up 33 points. he'd never run it up on a lesser foe. only Bob Stoops does that.

or he could play some decent teams OOC? and not the play Texas non-BCS teams at home that UT usually does. that's the easier solution.

Bitter much?

Face it. Stoops proved last year that it doesn't matter if you beat someone, you need to get style points. We tried to get Utah and Arkansas to play us but they pussied out. We do have some good teams coming up OOC in the next few years....UCLA, Ole Miss, Cal, Minnesota..... So...here is your style and you can swallow it down with a shot of shut the fuck up.

Yeah....I obsess with everything OU does.....yeah. This is really crying. Get a clue. It was cool when OU did it and now that you do not have the team to score a ton of points, everyone else is wrong? That's logic.

since you have an OU sig and used to have an OU avatar....i think you do.

you can try and deny it, and i never said anything about you or obsess....it's you that brought up "obsess". don't you see it. i laugh at you.

There's no such thing as "running it up" when the game is less than half over.

Mack would never run the score up. he's all that's right about football and sportsmanship.

The key is it is still the 1st half, come back and I will agree with you when you see Mack up by 50 in the 4th and still has his starters in like ole boob did last year.

Hey man, generally speaking, I'm on your side in the OU/UT thing, Oklahoma being an old-school Big 8 team and all. I'm just saying that the second quarter is pretty early to pull the "running it up" card, regardless of the score. I haven't been watching the game that closely. Did UTEP pull their starters already? That's the only scenario where you could honestly say Texas was running it up...

Mack always leaves his starters in for the first series of the 2nd half but like clock work 7:58 of the 3rd the second series you see Garrett Gilbert in at QB.

This has been Mack since he arrived at Texas, he did this when we had Vince and he hasn't changed one bit.

Hard to run up the score when even the 2nd string QB was pulled. Texas even had dudes under center in the 4th I have never even heard of before.
