So I missed the 1st half last night and by doing so, I missed Allen Bradford.
WTF?
Six carries, 55 yards, 9.2 ypc, and not a sniff in the 2nd half?!!!
Again, WTF?
I would love to see more of AB but I'm not exactly holding my breath. Thoughts?

FIGHT ON!
Re: Van, a word please.
Greg, if you missed the first half then you missed the single coolest play of the season for USC, and it came from AB. It was a straight dive play up the middle, and when the WSU LB filled the hole and squared up on him AB simply shot him the best stiff arm you'll ever see, completely decking the LB before running him over.
It wasn't one of those stiff arms you normally see, where the ball carrier reaches back to knock down the lurching, grasping defender. Nope, this was just a straight up punch out of a squared up LB.
It was awesome.
AB was great in the first half. He was running downhill, punishing people. The commentators were saying that while he's not the shiftiest runner they have he may be the fastest guy on the team.
I don't know about all that, but it dure does seem that whenever he touches the ball something good happens. He seems to be an automatic five yard gain.
You know what was truly brutal about last night's performance? Twice they were stopped on 4th and short. Both times, they could've just lined up and bulldozed forward, but both times they ran slow developing plays which were easily snuffed out.
No idea as to any rhyme or reason in their TB rotation. Last night they kept interrupting the flow of both McKnight and Bradford by going to Stafon Johnson, who couldn't do anything.
Johnson definitely seems to have a nose for the end zone but man, it also sure seems like Bradford would be ideal in those same spots, plus he's more dangerous the rest of the time.
I always liked C.J. Gable too, and he's been relegated to little more than an afterthought.
