The Duhs vs. The Defenseless Texans
Sig bet?
Honestly, if the Texans lose on Sunday I might start rooting for the Cowboys. Either that or slit my fucking wrists.

The Texans flat out suck.
Take them and spot the points anyway.

Re: Here we go again, pops.
No sig bet, Rumps, sorry.
The game last week shattered my hopes for the '09 Raiders.
My take on this game ...
If Oakland gets a grade-A defensive performance -- like the SD game -- they have a chance to win.
But the reality is that the Tejans will hit a couple of big back-breaker plays on the Raiders and that will prolly be enough.
I lost faith in the Raider defensive "braintrust" after watching Dungver use elementary gameplanning to mentally overwhelm them.
Seymour is a still a monster and Oakland DOES have some good things going on the defensive side of the ball -- potentially.
I doubt the Raiders will be able to consistently move the ball ... even on the sad Houston defense.
Close game, surprisingly "inspired" game by the 'duds, but another loss 23-20.

Don't sell the offense too short on this one, pops. JeMustardstain can easily look like Joe Montainya against a Texans defense going with their 3rd starting SS in as many weeks. Not only that, but Darren McFadden very well could go off for seventy thousand yards in this game. I think Houston keeps it close.

...do the yards you gain count if you fumble at the end of the run?

I just wish the 2010 Raiders go 0-16. How is Seymour? Think he is gonna stay?

Al can franchise him next season, so he's got no choice but to stay.Neely wrote:How is Seymour? Think he is gonna stay?
But a long term contract?
I can't believe Seymour is happy with what he sees in Oakland right now.
Re: Here we go again, pops.
*UPDATE* Oakland's #1 draft choice caught a pass today. *UPDATE*
The 'duds, especially with Gallery OUT, have perhaps the worst O-Line in the league.
The '09 draft was loaded with offensive line talent.
The 'ders took a pass ... "Naaahh, we're good."
Glad we got our win this year, because I see us dropping our next 12 contests.
1-15
Oakland came to town and your Tejans got well, Rumps.
The Raiders = the NFL's version of the swine flu innoculation.

You missed the Chiefs game?
Re: Here we go again, pops.
JaJoombajuice may be the worst QB I've seen. Isn't Testaverde available?
The Tejans did not get well today. They played like garbage and still wiped out a terrible team. Wide open receivers missed all day long by a pathetic quarterback.

You're assuming they could have held onto them had they actually been catchable. That's kind of a stretch right there.
