If his name is really Thunder Collins and he's not a porn star then he deserves life plus 110 years.

Meanwhile, Iowa players line up for 12 step program.Mace wrote:Don't worry about Thunder, he'll be fine. They'll just put him in the Johnny Rodger's wing of the Nebraska State Penitentiary where he'll be cellmates with some of his former teammates. It'll almost be like being in Lincoln except they for the lack of weed and no chics to beat up.

I know where your heading Mace, but 1970 was a long time ago and at that time gas station attendants weren't pressing charges so much.Mace wrote:Nawww, they're probably lining up at a keg. Yea I remember a story about 15 years ago where "Johnny the Jet" pulled a gun on the cable guy because dude was trying to turn off the service for non-payment. Johhny "thought" it was an intruder.....under the rug it went!Cornhusker wrote:Mace wrote:Meanwhile, Iowa players line up for 12 step programCornhusker wrote:[Don't worry about Thunder, he'll be fine. Gravy training was never lost on that guy.
As for Thunder Collins....sucks for him. I realize he offed a drug dealer so he probably did society a favor, but he obviously had the same problems as the POS he shot. (drug deal gone bad)
But, talk about yer bad-assed names for a running back! Thunder Collins. Dude was lightening quick, too.

Dr. Tom was never much for recruiting character.

He didn't trigger the guy, he was an accomplice.H4ever wrote:As for Thunder Collins....sucks for him. I realize he offed a drug dealer so he probably did society a favor, but he obviously had the same problems as the POS he shot. (drug deal gone bad)

Quick? not really. He was never what the hype machine tried to make him out to be and he left after his junior year.
His best year was 2001 with 647 yards rushing in 12 games with 5 TDs. Caught 19 balls for 189 yards, pretty generic.

The rest of the Div 1 teams who were perrenial top-ten powers.
Yes, Iowa has been squeaky-clean as far as not ever being guilty of perrenial top-ten teams and a few national titles sprinkled in.
Good luck against OSU!
