Masoli should get some Heisman love next year, despite the fact he's the second-best offenmsive player on the team.

LaMichael James is freaking amazing... and a freshman. Didn't play much in the first game, and has already broken the PAC10 freshman rushing record.

Best back in the PAC (sorry, Toby).

On the tying drive, James reversed the play to the short side, and Masoli just laid someone the fuck out on the lead block...

that was awesome.

And the tuddy pass to Pretty Boy Maehl was something else -- off the back foot, across his body, falling down away from the direction of the pass, into a crowd -- everything his coaches have ever told him not to do...

to the tune of $$$$$$$

BTW-how'd that "rushing the field with time on the clock" thing work out for ya, Zona fan?

Matter of fact -- when that one team that always sucks has that dream-season, and is a home win away from making that big bowl, and their fans start positioning themselves to rush the field before the game is over...

has said home team ever ended up winning the game, in the entire history of CFB?

I mean, I know Zona fan don't know much about CFB, but you'd think they might realize that they were looking at what may possibly be the most potent offense in the history of the sport, and 30 seconds is about what it took Oregon to score on a typical 2nd quarter drive, much less a back-to-the-wall 4th quarter drive.

I guess it's hard to act like you've been there before when you haven't.

Maybe next year, Zona... oh, wait -- of Oregon's 2-deep roster of 44, there's a whopping 5 seniors. I guess maybe not next year, either.

Actually, if you put Masoli's numbers on the year next to He Who Turns Water To Wine, they're pretty much the same freaking player, save for a few media members suckling their respctive ballsacs, and a little ethnicity.

So all things being equal you'd take the the guy with 2 losses over the guy quarterbacking an undefeated team? Nobody in cfb has had a bigger target on his back than Tebow, yet the guy has led the #1 ranked team wire-to-wire up to this point.

Sounds to me what he is saying is Tebow is the new Football Jesus and Masoli is the one nailing him to the cross.
