Question for Missouri fans

Post by King Crimson »

lately, Gary Barnett has been on the local radio mostly to re0invent his image. He's taken the high road as far as beating on Dan Hawkins, mostly.

However, Barney has mentioned more than once that he had a commit from Jeremy Maclin at one time (before he got resigned). I remember Maclin being an OU de-commit but that's about it. never, CU in the picture. ???

He de-comitted from CU for OU and then from us to Misery.

huh, well OK. thanks bro. Barnett leaves out the OU part, but hey....selective memory is kind of his thing these days.

Callahan probably could've had him but didn't make a move, typical.

Not related to your question KC, but how about Danario Alexander obliterating Maclin's single season Mizzou receiving records for catches and yards... and not even being nominated for the Biletnikoff award?

That's messed up. Dude went for over 200 yards in 3 of his last 4 games yet isn't considered one the top 10 WR's?

I guarantee that on NFL draft day he'll get his due.

Alexander was one of the sleepers that saved my fantasy-squad(him and Ryan Williams from VT). He came up huge for me. I hope he gets drafted early. I'm glad Neb doesn't have to see him next year, he was absolutely on-fire later in the season.
