Thursday NFL

Post by ChargerMike »

..I guess it's better than no game, but you talk about horsesh!t! The camera position must be somewhere in the nosebleed section...I've seen better camera work in high school games. The broadcasters??? Bob Papa and Matt Millen...enough said. Is this the best the NFL network can do? Almost unwatchable.

Hey, I'm just glad I finally have the NFL network.

You'd complain about a free lunch.

I hope the NFL loses money on these games. If I had my way I would not have this channel at all. Ridiculous they don't have the game on network tv.

Yea, pretty much. They were even worse their first year when they had Gumbel and Collinsworth fucking up play by play/color commentary. I honestly think they try to get the mediocre matchups so as to fly under the noses of antitrust regulators in the Senate. IMO, the NFLN is nothing more than a way for the NFL to put the screws to it's media partners.

I don't have NFL Network and honestly it does not bother me one bit. No need to pay extra for these crappy matchups. Any Pats games would either be on local TV here as well or I could go to a bar if need be.

What makes the NFL Network worth the time are the other programs. Like Game of the Week and Classic Matchups. Even Top 10 is a worthy bit of brain candy. And NFL Films shows will never suck.

Yeah I had it last season and those are great shows. The "Americas Game" series are pretty sweet too. I can do without Deion Sanders and Steve Mariucci though. Overall I can live without it. I mean if there is any football knowledge that I need then I just come here......

I remember hating the announcers... maybe I forgot how bad the games were. I'd have to look it up, but I just don't recall the match-ups being this disappointing.

This is how bad it's gotten. When my wife asks me to watch Grey's Anatomy with her tonight, I'm actually considering saying "yes" instead of blowing her off for the 143rd time in a row.

Damn straight...nice doubleheader tonight with the Wings on now and by 9:30, I'll flip it to ESPN and throw the remote away.

Awful night tonight for the Wings...two Oilers goals went in off Wings' sticks. I think I'm going to watch the Civil War from the start...it's 4-1 Oilers right now unless the Wings have another third period rally in them like they had the last time they played them.

Just as an FYI as I know you're all waiting with baited breath on my TV viewing for last night -- Grey's Anatomy was a repeat last night so I got over once again. Fucking rack me. 8)

I watched a little bit of the Civil War but CFB just isn't my thing. I didn't watch one lousy minute of that NFL game.
