They still have one more half to play. Only down 14 at the moment.

pretty wild series of events to close out the half. special teams TD got Cincy back in it. 31-10 would have been a lot to overcome.

gotta love the weather.

Cincy making a run at it...Gilyard with another TD. It would be cool to see Coach Kelly win today followed by his former school, GVSU win their D-II semifinal game against Carson-Newman. Hey 314...another GVSU-NWMSU title game perhaps? :hfal:

Lewis with the go-ahead score but a missed extra point and 96 seconds for Pike and Gilyard to steal it away...

The Cats prevail...21 points down and they pull it out.

I usually revel in Pitt losses and humbled seasons...but today I actually do feel for the Panthers. They're a lot less detestable than the Walt Hairless model. Also, I had a lot of respect for Foge Fazio, whose memorial service is taking place as I type this and whose radio color analysis I was enjoying immensely two short weeks ago.

Pitt is definitely on the rise. Today's game was a pleasure to watch, some great individual efforts. Props to Cincy for an undefeated season and for offering BCS Fly Ointment #1.

Wow, what a day! I was honestly a little concerned being down by 21 but I know this team so well and it just doesn't take the Cats long to score so I knew we were still in the game. Mardy Gilyard was simply amazing today and Pike really rebounded after three poor quarters of play for a monster 4th quarter. I'm so happy for the team and so impressed with how they came back in this game in a very tough environment. Props to Pitt and to Deon Lewis for an outstanding and memorable game but the best team won today. The Bearcats are 12-0 and headed to a BCS bowl again (most likely Sugar) but hopefully to Pasadena if Nebraska can give us some help tonight. Go Big Red!!!!!!
