Shipping one pallet of goods LTL to Canada is a paperwork nightmare, a full truckload even worse because then this humble forklift driver has to deal with some asshole French Canadian truck driver and then the customs broker. Biggest assholes on the planet.

Mexican shipments are much easier to deal with paperwork wise and they aren't nearly so anal. Their drivers are just grateful they made it into the U.S. w/o being killed by some druglord who wanted them to drop off 10 tons of marijuana on the way.
