I just know one thing here: You may be cooking up some sort of Maginot Line, but he's a Panzer division. Unless you enlist Trev as your commander to help soothe the savage beast this dog won't hunt.
While 88 is a good guy and really should vacation on Sanibel Island again and I respect most of his opinions--I must take issue with his assessment of Ross Perot's impact on the 1992 election. I would not call 18.9 % of the popular vote and zero electoral votes as "almost pulling it off." About the only thing he pulled off was allowing the election of Bill Clinton and all that followed.
To say that both parties are the same is not a realistic view either--in my humble opinion there are marked differences in the values held by the parties. Whether they all adhere to those values is of course a problem--human frailty/weakness being what it is.
For example---I do not recall any story about outgoing GW Bush staffers taking the letter"O" off White House keyboards; nor any about George and Laura pilfering silver etc. from the people's place.
We will see what may happen when the Obama's vacate the place and the next (Republican) administration moves in.

Orwell would be amazed by Barry. Huxley of course would be disgusted. The trapped soul of the guy who invented dynamite is probably finally let loose, freed as a true full warrior accepts the Peace Prize. Barry's way beyond a hacking chickenhawk or an oil whore, those panting pansies can't conceive the mettle of African fury..released..
Ready to deploy...(we're not in Kansas anymore!)
