Stanford can foot the kid's bill, any way they wish...or are you somehow under some insane impression that they can't? Do you seriously think Stanford can't choose to take in a kid, mid-year, and cover the cost from Day One?

Nope. And it's been a fairly common occurrence. Off the top of my head, it happened to North Carolina when Mack left for Texas, and it happened to Cinci once before -- when Dantonio left for the Sparty job.
