Israel admits organ harvesting
By Middle East Correspondent Anne Barker
Posted Tue Dec 22, 2009 7:05am AEDT
Israel's military has admitted forensic pathologists once harvested organs from dead bodies - both Israeli and Palestinian - without the permission of their families.
Four months ago Israel threatened legal action against a Swedish newspaper which published claims that Israeli soldiers had killed Palestinians to harvest their organs. They also angrily rolled out the standard "Anti-Semitism" charges. "Oy vey! How long will they persecute us? Why? Why?"
But now, Israeli television has broadcast part of an interview with the former head of Israel's Abu Kabir forensic institute who has acknowledged pathologists did harvest heart valves, skin, corneas and bones from Israeli soldiers and civilians, Palestinians and foreign workers.
Responding to the TV interview, the Israeli military confirmed the practice took place, but said it ended in 2000.

Once again proving true the adage...
The only good Palestinian is a DEAD Palestinian.
Good to see they found a way to make themselves useful.

Re: Okay, Okay, We Were Fucking LYING (again)
Well, the fact that they would use them from their sworn untermench enemy just shows how amoral they are. They also illegally harvested from their own people too. I suppose the Orthodox laws of Judaism maintain some sort of taboo against using goyim organs, but sheeeeit, there's money to be made! Just ask those New Jersey organ peddling rabbis. They were shamelessly exploiting poor third-worlders for their kidneys, etc., and then selling them in Israel for huge mark-ups.
Regardless of your (completely irrational) bigotry towards the Palestinians, this simply displays the utter desperate nature of this artificial race state experiment.
But c'mon, wagoneer, tell us how you would feel if your mother, while walking home from the store, was killed by some belligerent cops with impunity--and then her heart, liver, and kidneys were removed and stolen. And the cops told you "we didn't do it," and then later admitted..."yeah, we did it...made a bunch of money...fuck you"
Would you still have the same tired sneering contempt...for her?
Well, you're a fucked up puppy indeed!

Sounds like a good hobby...collect the organs of dead palestinians that haven't blown themselves up...
meanwhile, sandn.iggers continue to send their most seriously ill to Israel for medical services....

Israel Plans to Build 692 New Homes in East Jerusalem (Update3)
December 28, 2009, 01:27 PM EST
By Gwen Ackerman
Dec. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Israel plans to build almost 700 homes in three areas of Jerusalem outside the city’s 1967 border to help alleviate a housing shortage, the Housing Ministry said today.
The decision to add 692 new homes brings to 1,600 the number approved by Israel in the past six weeks in parts of the city captured from Jordan in the 1967 war. The U.S. condemned the plan in a statement from a presidential spokesman.
Israeli construction in east Jerusalem, which Palestinians seek as a capital of a future state, has been criticized by the U.S. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a 10- month construction freeze in West Bank settlements last month, while excluding Jerusalem from the move.
“We are not looking to goad the U.S.,” Housing Minister Ariel Atias said on Israel Army Radio. “All of the governments of Israel have built in Jerusalem for the past 20 years. Not one government has frozen construction in the city.”
The U.S. opposes new Israeli building in East Jerusalem, Robert Gibbs, President Barack Obama’s press secretary, said in a statement today.
“Neither party should engage in efforts or take actions that could unilaterally pre-empt, or appear to pre-empt, negotiations,” Gibbs said.
Construction Consequences
When Israel announced plans last month to build 900 new homes in Gilo, an area outside the 1967 boundaries, Obama said settlement building could have “dangerous” consequences.

Rattling the Cage: A taboo question for Israelis
By LARRY DERFNER
There's a question we Israelis won't ask ourselves about the Palestinians, especially not about Gaza. The question is taboo. Not only won't anyone ask it out loud, but very, very few people will dare ask it in the privacy of their own minds.
However, I think it's time we start asking it, privately and in public. If we don't, I think there's going to be Operation Cast Lead II, then Operation Cast Lead III, and each one is going to be worse than the last, and the consequences for Palestinians and Israelis are going to be unimaginable.
The question we have to ask ourselves is this: If anybody treated us like we're treating the people in Gaza, what would we do?
We don't want to go there, do we? And because we don't, we make it our business not to see, hear or think about how, indeed, we are treating the people in Gaza.
All these shocked dignitaries, all these reports, these details, these numbers - thousands of destroyed this and tens of thousands of destroyed that. Rubble, sewage, malnutrition, crying babies, humanitarian crises - who can keep up? Who cares? They did it to themselves. Where to for lunch?
IT'S NOT that we can't imagine life in Gaza. It's that we are determined not to try to imagine. If we did, we might not stop there. Next we might try to imagine what it would be like if our country were in the condition in which we left Gaza. And sooner or later we might try to imagine what we would do if we were living over here like they're living over there.
Or not even what we would do, just what we would think - about the people, about the country, that did that to us and that wouldn't even allow us to begin to recover after the war was over. That blockaded our borders and allowed in only enough supplies to keep us at subsistence level, to prevent starvation and mass epidemics.
What would we think, what would we do, if somebody, some country, did that to us?
A lot of people here, I'm sure, would reply angrily: So why won't the Gazans try making peace?
Can you say "South Africa 1980?".....
I know you smell the moral stench!
