Salvias are starting to bloom here. Some of the stone fruit trees are budding now too.

You'd be amazed at how much shit I've got growing in my yard. Right now it's getting out of control to tell the truth. Plus a potential record crop of weeds starting to come up.

All those mudslides are more than 100 miles from here.

I have been designated an "essential" worker, so I have to go in. I haven't been inconvenienced too much, but my cars aren't going anywhere. Morons are flying all around, smashing into parked cars, getting stuck in the middle of major intersections, and impeding the plows - and of course it's all someone else's fault.

The City 311 center has gotten about 20k emails over the last few days. Here is one of the most entertaining:

We have been waiting since friday night to have our street plowed. Everyone on the block has called 311 numerous times and every time they say "we'll send someone over." Every street around us has been plowed. Just not ours. I don't know whose dick has to be sucked to get the street plowed, but please let me know because right now I'd do just about anything. I know its a small street, but no one can park on the street right now so there should be no problems plowing it. DO SOMETHING PLEASE!!

I know a few guys here in Rochester that might be willing to drive down there if the price was right. I know I wish I had a 4x4. I guarantee I could clear over 5k just by pointing that thing south for a week.

I want to know what all the people who have no other place to park but on the street are doing. I haven't exactly noticed a whole lot of driveways on my trips to Pittsburgh. Seems like most Pittsburghers have to park on the street. Where are they parking if they are not allowed on the street?
