According to Maj. Huey Thornton, a police spokesman, Means, a junior at the school, was charged with disorderly conduct after he made threatening remarks and lifted his shirt to show a gun in his waistband at a KFC restaurant on West South Boulevard.
that's one of the worst areas of town, and I used to work about a mile from that KFC.

USED to...

alabama cities used to be fine back in the good ole days, then they got rid of fire hoses and police dogs and it all went to shit.

I have. Crisscrossed it North to South, West to East on my way to Columbus Ga. And then back again on a different route, passing thru Mobile heading West. While I won't call it a total shithole, I was pretty glad to put Alabama in my rear view mirror.

I honestly can't remember one thing remarkable... well they did have a nice Civil War memorial park in Phenix City along the Chattahoochee river and my wife likes Alan Jackson, but that's about it. Oh, and closed down cotton mills everyone seems to reminesce about like those were good jobs. Now you build Hyundai's and Kia's.

Sweet Home my ass, you can have it. I'd much rather hang out in Mississippi, Biloxi or Gulf Port, to be exact.

Drug ripoffs? Someone fuck you over? We will straight ride out on dey asses
have you seen downtown Montgomery in the last year or so? If not, you won't believe it. We've actually visited downtown...after five! I know! Unbelievable. We've gone down there on the weekend and eaten great food! I shit you not. We've seen good bands and great comedians there.

The weirdest thing is to sit outside eating a good meal and see human beings walking around Commerce Street...on the weekend!

It's almost like a real city.
I'm calling bullshit. I am going to need to see pictures

I hope your joking because my last trip through the MS Gulf Coast in 2001 was a view of all the pawn shops and closed casinos.

Maybe Katrina flushed the toilet.
