Bsuck, PUSFAN, any thoughts on this? I'm way more excited for the Pavement reunion than I am the Soundgarden reunion, even though I'm a bigger Soundgarden fan. But SG was a more demanding band vocally and Cornell obviously doesn't have the same pipes. And I'm still bitter they broke up when they did before my touring peak. Who knows what to expect from Cornell?
Sure, Pavement shows were always unpredictable in quality in the past, but I think they'll be able to put together a better quality show than SG for the same price now. SG is going to be playing bigger venues (hell they are already headlining Lollapalooza) and you don't know what you're gonna get for the price.
"I need to sleep, why won't you let me?" I just really wanna hear Crooked Rain live and am willing to pay for it.

Re: Pavement reunion
i'd pay to see pavement. saw SG twice. opening for Jane's Addiction and Danzig. were sort of good to meh in a small venue. still like Ultramega OK and Louder than Love....but live was average.

Re: Pavement reunion
I saw Pavement 3 or 4 times, and they were always good. I'm glad to hear they'll be playing together again...I think they all have a lot left in the tank. i really liked Scott Kannberg's Pavement stuff, and his band Preston School of Industry...but it seemed like he had been out of music for a bit, so it's good he's back.
