Apparently the folks in greenwich, ct didn't get the memo...

Post by smackaholic »

...that there was a recession going on.

Yesterday I channeled dinsdale helped a buddy of mine finish up a yob in lovely greenwich. Bill has a bidness installing playscapes, usually in schools or parks, but this one was at somebody's crib. This very nice couple was having it put up for their little girls birthday.

These are not your typical back yard swing sets. They are very heavy duty and big $$$$$. Some of the larger ones he puts in are 6 figures and he may get over 20K just to install them.

The neighborhood this house was in was absolutely ridiculous. Many of the homes were well over 10K square feet and not a damn bit of vinyl siding in site. Whole lotta stone and wood though. No mc mansions in this hood. these were the real fukking deal.

the house we worked at was a little on the small side. i'd guess only about 8K ft, but, dayum, was it hooked up. amazing stonework everywhere and in the back yard a few pollock carpenters were working on what could best be described as a really really high end carport. actually, it was not for cars. just a really expensive shade creator for the patio. this fukking thing was done in a sort of chinese pagoda style. all post and beam, cedar shake roof, copper trim, and anything else you can thing of that looks expensive.

all day long we watched the local milfs jog by or drive by in their porsche SUVs. BTW, the porsche SUV is apparently THE soccer mom rig in greenwich. they prolly got some sort of zoning regs against explorers.

the highlight of the afternoon was some honey from the ginormous (well over 10K sq. ft) shack across the street. she came walking up to me with a very concerned look on her face.

high $$$ milf: uhhh, excuse me, have you seen a 9 year old boy around?

smackadale: nope, but i'll keep an eye out.

h$m: thank you. it's really not like him to run off.

she then walked over to the other mansions, knocked on doors, etc. it was obvious she was very distressed.

about 5 minutes later 3 GPD rigs pull into the driveway. cops everywhere, but, strangely enough, not a barechested redneck or trailer in sight. a few minutes later one of the neighbors involved in the hunt is walking by. i asked how the search was going. he smiled and said they found him .... in the fukking house.

note to rich folks- if you ever lose your kid and call in the entire town police force and then you find him....in the fukking house, maybe, just fukking maybe.... you got a little too much house.

the funny part is i'd be willing to bet lots of these asshats think global warming is a serious concern. not serious enough to buy a house, ohhh, maybe small enough for just 3 or 4 families, but serious none the less. i am also certain that plenty of them went out and bought a few zillion carbon credits to "help" in the fight against AGW.

Build a meat processing/packing plant a couple of clicks down the road and that row of ivory towers will be full of messicans within 2 years. 10K square feet? 12 families...minimum. Price too high for these cribs? Guess again....through collective efforts and meth distribution proceeds, they will pay 2% above asking price and have 20% percent plus down.

Tricked out F-150's with boom-boom polka music will replace the joqqers and Porsche SUV's!

sorry dude, but that's not how they roll in greenwich. that shit might play in flyoverville, ne, but, not in the other ne, new england.

greenwich is olde money. lots and lots of it. for most of the 20th century, it's location as the nearest piece of dirt to NYC without a state income tax made it a convenient location for folks who would otherwise pay more in state income tax than you or i make a year. hell, more than 88 even. it was basically the luxemborg of stupid rich NYers.

weiker fukked up the tax thing in the 90s, but, now that they already built all these palaces, they ain't going anywhere

it is surrounded by similar communities which are almost as ritzy, but, not quite. you wanna built a meat plant, not quite so lovely bridgeport, a short drive up 95 needs the tax base and is already as fukked up as a city can get.

that house across the way where kids go missing, would handle at least 30 messican clans. hell, i bet i could get a dozen in my place if i finished off the basement.

A project of this magnitude surely calls for square drive screws.

Took some skank home about 6 months ago. Had a great time. Hit the sack around 2am. When I woke up at 8am she was gone and so was her stuff. I went to the kitchen to check for a note or a txt but there was nada. Guess I wasn't worth the time I surmised but I kinda wanted to fuck her again so after a few hours of bumping around the house I txtd her. "Want to do b-fast?" The reply? "Sure I'll be right down." She was in the house all along. She fell asleep in the upstairs den. Said she made a bite to eat after we fucked and didn't want to wake me while she watched tv and had her 4am snack.

Indyfistee your thoughts?

So instead of waiting for morning breakfast like most normal human beings, she got her grub on at 4 am? Then was ready to eat again four hours later? Does G'o C'*o^0gs''' know you're banging his woman?

dude, these pollocks were real carpenters. everything was wooden peg. rich folk don't want to see phillips, square, flat, allen or even robertson heads. stanley, yes, of course his name was stanley, pointed out to me with considerable pride that you could not see a single metal fastening device and he was right. this was the most magnificent carport i ever saw. without a doubt it cost more than my house. bill told me the addition they put on which may or may not have included the carport and about 6 miles of really, really, really nice stone wall was 3 mill and change. they paid 8 mil for the place 2 years ago.

the owners, unlike most stupid rich folks were extremely nice. they kept coming out and asking how we were doing and brought us grub. they were some sort of northern euros, dutch or german if i had to guess.

early in the day i had to go knock on the door to inform them we would need to roll up a few yards worth of their fresh laid sod so we could bring the 40 yards of mulch in. we forgot to bring our messicans, and white folks don't wheel barrel 40 yards of nothing. she came to the door in a bath robe, which of course led to some sort of little gigalo fantasy which i quickly got over, mostly. she said don't worry, the landscaper dude who was local and had his messicans at the ready would be over in a jiffy to roll it back.

I've seen this one. The kid has a toy hot air balloon and it went missing, so they called out the National Guard, right? Congrats on being a part of the Greenwich CT Housewives series.

dude, if this lady wanted a reality show, she'd fukkin' buy one.

what's that dumb show that i think cbs did where it's like an international scavenger hunt. they could do that entire fukking show in her house.
