There's a reason they chose to copy the FSU unis in the movie The Program. One of the best ever.

the spear helmet logo was originally a Wash Redskins design, as I recall. yeah, the Bowden era had great threads. As far as color combos, garnet and gold is not an automatic win out of the box....but, they made it go.

hell, i troll Colorado boards with the sole intent of telling how assjoobed they got with Nike's last Hawkins era effort. Saint Bill McCartney, who invented football, would have never signed off on dijon mustard color pants and goofy BS on the home uni.

i wanted to staplegun everyone i work with when Oklahoma blew a 17 point lead and lose in 07.....but they have stupid unis now when they used to have a classic look. a look you can "brand".

Doubt it. FSU is like 1-7 in the blackout/whiteout games, with the only win coming against duke.

In 2006, Nike and FSU decided to make more money by making the black uniforms.

In 2008, Nike and FSU decided to change the traditional spear endzones to nike script.

In 2009, Nike and FSU decided to go with the fucked up pro combat uniforms with a black helmet.

Now, Nike and FSU decided to finish off any tradition the Noles had left with this oregon east bullshit.


If we are going to be a mid-tier ACC team, can we at least hold on to the traditions of when we meant something.
