USC Investigation?

Post by indyfrisco »

Wasn't there an announcement that the NCAA would release their findings in February? Not heard anything about this in awhile. Any updates? Inquiring minds want to know...

They had their hearings back then, yes, and IIRC they said that they would announce their findings in May.

Along those same lines, does anybody know whether that huge recruit USC landed at the last second ever signed? Seantrell Henderson, or something like that? His mom was saying that he's coming to USC regardless, but his dad was saying something about wanting to wait for the NCAA to do their thing before turning the committment into a signed LOI.

~does a quick Google check~

Never mind. He signed with USC in March.

The NCAA's Cash Cow of the West...

Why do I get this strange feeling that the words "insufficient evidence" are going to appear several times in that report?

Define "Roethlisbergered"?

It could have 2 meanings.......

1.To be raped
or
2.To never get convicted due to being white and wealthy

being black and affluent means you'll be acquitted. getting roethlisbergered means they won't even bother with the charges. probably has more to do with how hot the victims were, though.

$imple $tuff to figure out....by the way, Nice move by Carroll..

Taylor, you should stay another year, hone your skills, and be that much more attractive in the draft....

But now that I'm out of college ball and don't need your sorry ass, I know you suck and will take another safety among my early picks....have a nice life.

He didn't pass on Mays because he sucks. He passed on Mays because a fluke thing happened and Earl Thomas dropped to them. Mays even acknowledged he figured Thomas would go ahead of him. Sometimes a player just happens to drop far due to lack of teams needing a player at his position or whatever reason. Plenty of players that have gone on to have big careers have been drafted at or below where he was. No shame in being a 2nd round pick.

Uh, yes there is especially when your college coach convinced you to stay because you'd be a sure fire first round pick coming out and then get passed on by that same dude.....Ha....fuck both of them.

None of that matters if Taylor Mays can go out and prove the doubters wrong. The big bucks and success will all be there in the long run if he's as good as he thinks he is. Had he gone pro last year there's no guarantees he would have been picked as high as he expected. He may have ended up in the same spot. Taylor needs to quit whining and start focusing on what he needs to improve upon to be successful in the NFL and then none of this will matter at all.

If Taylor Mays has anyone to blame for his drop in the draft, its Rocky Seto. Course Rocky was hired and put in a position to screw up the defense by Pete Carroll so fuck both of them.

oh yeah, Brian Cushing suspended for testing positive for Roids.

Shocker, he was called out last year on this forum as a roider, that whole LB core was juicing.

Then Aunt jamammies lover came in to defend cushion, posting an 6 page reply on how cushing wasn't a roider.

For the record, I never posted a single word saying he wasn't a 'roider. Not one. All I ever did was explain the difference between the "man boobs" pic of him as a freshman and the rocked up pic of him as a senior. I also said that there had never been a single report of him ever failing a drug test, and that his physique was hardly unique among BTPCF players.

Here's another thing I said...
Do I suspect he's juiced? Sure I do. Do I also suspect boatloads of others as having juiced? Yep.
Try to get your facts at least a little straight.

Im a fan of USC and their players, once they players leave Id like to see them do well but as I dont watch or care about the NFL, I dont really pay much attention to them. Coaches who didnt go to USC, Ill support them while theyre at USC, once theyre gone, I no longer support them. Especially when they just mail it in their final year more concerneed about a "better LA" or some other bullshit philanthropy. Football first, fuck the poor parts of town.
