I didn't see this year's Pens squad having the same magic of the last two years. The Habs clearly have a lucky horseshoe up their derrieres.

Not to be unnoticed...the Flyers are about to pull off the comeback of comebacks. They were 3-0 down and had to survive Game 4 in OT and have come all the way back and forced a Game 7 with their 3rd goalie.

What a strange dynamic in the conference finals...we could see a #1 vs. #2 in the West and a #7 (or #6) vs. #8 in the East.

I wouldn't go that far. Notice how well of a job the Habs have done in shutting down opponents' scoring threats (i.e. Ovie to an extend, Semin, Backstrom, Crosby, Malkin).

Good point, Screwed_InTheAssAagin. They really seem to keep the other team away from their goalie. I don't believe that Halak has as high a save % in this series as he did against Washington, but he stops a good number of quality shots. It helps that CamelHairy has 12 goals in 14 games.
