Soul Asylum coming with to SW DC on 7/4

Post by Screw_Michigan »

Bwaha, I was in GR when they played their free show in Rockville, MD, over Memorial weekend, and I mentioned two weeks ago at Cantina Marina in SW DC I was pissed I missed their show. And now here they are.

Soul Asylum is going to play the Uncle Sam Jam on 7/4, time TBA but the festival is 3-11. $15, bunch of other bands and DJs, too. Not that I actually actively listen to Soul Asylum (I did a few weeks ago, though), but they are playing a festival 1/3 mile from where I live, so I will go. Will be partying at another block party in the neighborhood as well so I'll be going back and forth.

Should be EPIC.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

I really liked them back in the Made to be Broken era. It sucks their bassist died a few years ago. They played a free outdoor show last year in PGH, I was too busy beating the shit out of The Crew to go.

Seeing Somebody to Shove live would be worth it. And they're playing four blocks from where I live. I have no excuse.

i always liked the LP title: Soul Asylum...and the horse they rode in on. i never listened to them much, but had a gf who had this LP and some good memories there.
