Horseshoe Bay PET

Post by Go Coogs' »

Summer Vacation Trip to Horseshoe Bay

View from the room. 1 of 4 pools at the resort...
Image

This is the Yacht Club beach area. I was enjoying a $10 margarita. It was pretty fucking good but not worth $10.
Image

This is me a little wasted and a little gay.
Image

After laying out and drinking a little too much at the pool, Mrs. Rumps and I had dinner at this italian spot in Marble Falls. I had the grilled salmon over a bed of shrimp and ricotta cheese stuffed ravioli. 'Twas fucking good.
Image

Image

After dinner we took in a scenic drive before sundown...
Image
Image

Next morning we ate at this local joint which is kinda famous in central Texas...
Image

This was another pool at the resort just up the road. It was very nice and a lot less crowded. I ordered a burger and fries for lunch. $9 for the meal and $5 for the beer...Image
Image

After another relaxing morning at the pool, it was time for some golf. Pay attention to the form, fellas. That is how you fire a 76 with two water balls.
Image
Image

This is some cool waterfall shit we had to hit over on one of the holes. Not only that, but you drove between them on a slick, narrow path...
Image

The next day we spent most of the morning and part of the afternoon cruising the lake on some waverunners. I got twisted on that thing and scared the shit out of the Mrs. with my shenanigans.
Image

Later that day we played the resort's natural putt-putt course. It was kinda gax, but cheap...
Image

A souvenir...

Rack. You didn't mention the venison steak dinner.

You have to go into Llano and eat at Cooper's. It is not a trip to Horseshoe Bay if you don't. What course? Slick, Ram or Apple?

Slick is in the pics you see above.

Was paired with a couple of 15+ handicappers at Ram Rock on another day. I played the whites with them to speed up play and shot 83. Only got to hit the driver twice on that track. It's definitely a placement course; a lot more difficult than Slick.

Thanks.

My metabolism is usually at an all time high during the summer. Right now I'm at my lowest weight which is 190. I'll get up around 205 in the winter and the decline will pick up in the spring again. It's a vicious cycle.

You gotta be 6'5 if you are 190. You are built like priest-bait.

Hope you enjoyed your vacation. Go ahead and RACK yourself for being able to kick my ass up an down a golf course.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

I think I'd have to be leery of an Italian restaurant that doesn't know how to spell the coffee drink that Italy is famous for.

Happy day for rumps!! It appears Frau Rumps is now able to extend a camera away from the central mass without said mass being visible in the pic.

Entertaining PET, Rumps.
Nice job.

B+

Would have reached A status if even a single pic of Lady Rumps had appeared.

That was a slight ---> FAIL <--- on your part.

Just a question: Maybe it's the camera angle, but was your nose previously BUSTED??

Looks so.

Sayin'.

I have played Ram and Slick. I shot 84 at Ram Rock. Great track. The fairway on 18 is not fair. I hit a 3 wood right in the middle and it rolled all the way left into the rough. Slick Rock I did better on. I shot 81. I love going out there. We try to get out there once a year.

I am in San Antonio at La Cantera right now. I love this place. I played the resort course from the blues and shot 84.

The pic kinda makes it look worse than it really is, but to answer your question, yes, I broke my nose years ago when I was a kid.

Long story short, older brothers can be assholes growing up.
