I wouldn't be overlooking UConn. I am sure DickRod knows that they play very well defensively and they rarely make mistakes.

UCONN while good lost some talent
ND...lost a lot of talent, new coach, new QB, etc
BG...give me a break they lost Barnes
U MASS...

it could be...but shit...

I know Miami has a pretty tough schedule...as does FSU I think...who gives a rats ass...let's just get the season here

They didn't lose much, if anything, in the way of their skill position players. Todman is back and he's good RB.

Edsall knows DickRod well and vice versa. You can move the ball on UConn's D with a QB who can run, so I would think that Michigan will utilize this with Forcier.

er, fan base is in 'fuck fuck fuck' mode over this game. it doesn't take long for the hubris to evaporate, though it'll be back with a vengeance once we're mildly decent again.

Yeah - as happy I am about the Tide series beginning, PSU once again will be on the margin with SOS points.
