Since CU and Ohio State have announced a game at the Shoe in 2011, I know a bunch of people who are interested in going. Just curious what the "normal" visitor ticket allotment is in C-Bus? rough estimate.
and, what game day ticket/scalping situations are like around the stadium....?
Question for Ohio State fan....or anyone, really

Re: Question for Ohio State fan....or anyone, really
I want to say it is somewhere between 5-10k allottment...I just scored 4 OSU v Miami tix yesterday because GOLD TOOF doesn't travel...
visitors are usually relegated to 3 sections (1 upper south stands), 1 lower A deck near closed end of stadium, and I think there is another section in the lower part of the south stands...scalping depending on what happens before this game (OSU losing to Miami or something bad like that) could help...last year for USC we waited until about 6pm and we were able to score 1 ticket that we needed for 150 (basically double face)...
hope this helps...good game for both schools...

thanks buckeye. i'll pass that on....there's a rumor among my CU buds that tOSU is unusually stingy with visitor tix. While CU has a rep for not traveling well....I think there will be a lot of interest in that game. Unless Hawkins wins 5 games, isn't fired, and is still coaching at CU. I expect either Dan the Man will get axed and a new coach will bring a renewed enthusiasm among CU faithfuls or maybe the Zen Meister posts 7-8 W's this year and, again, maybe some renewed interest. He's got a pretty veteran club this year, high profile transfers (Mich, USC, UCLA) at WR and Cody H. will be starting the season on the bench.
i agree it's a nice matchup. don't know about OSU situ, but CU was looking to fill a hole in the schedule that was likely to end up Northern Colorado or South Dakota State. getting this one-off was a nice move by the ADs.
Sam, i won't be going. if going to drop coin to travel to a BTPCF game....I'm going to OU-UT or when OU travels to FSU or something. plus, during the fall semester i can't really take 3-4 day weekends. it's enough to bracket off Saturday completely from responsibilities and drink beer and watch football.

King...no problem...if I hear of anything else I'll let you know...agree on the matchup...nice that OSU manned up I guess and filled a hole with at least a historically reputable team...rather than butt fuck in the mouth U...
they go to Miami then play CU at home...nice little run there...
You will be coming to C BUS when OU comes to town to get their butt fucking won't you? I would advise your peeps to make hotel reservations as early as possible...there is a Fairfield Inn on Olentangy River Road that is walkable (we did it for the NCSU game in 2003)...or they could spend big coin and get a room at the Blackwell...
there are some cool things...soak it in...Script Ohio, the Shoe, St. John's, some nice campus history, etc...I'll keep up with the happenings..

I don't think that's accurate -- they travel from their former home in Jew York to Miami all the time.
