If I owned one of those things I would feel the need to carry contraband to bribe the security gaurds at the checkpoints. Start wearing a black leather coat...smoking cigs with a permanent scowl on my face.

The only inspection in Oregon is the Department of Environmental Quality smog test, which only applies to certain (heavily populated) parts of the state, and the tags are good for 2 years.

But I assume that Subaru 360 was made before 1975, in which case it's exempt from the smog test -- just pay your $86, and you're good to go... except in Multnomah County (Portland), where they just tacked on an extra $38 to pay for a bridge.
