American Carnage Tour concert review
"Keys, woman!"
Re: American Carnage Tour concert review
Caught the same show Sunday night in Houston and it was great. It had been 23 years since I last saw Anthrax with Joey Belladonna. they sounded vintage to say the least. Came out to "Among the Living". Great song. All in all Anthrax were really solid. They can still pound it out.
Megadeth was on next and they too were excellent. They came out to "Holy Wars" and played the entire Rust in Peace album. Sounded great. I bought the album back in college in 1990 and loved then and I love it today. They only played 1 new song. The song was "Head Crusher" and it was good. I have seen them 5 times and I have to say that they sounded the best on Sunday.
Slayer closed the showed and were worthy of headlining. I love Slayer. They came out to "World Painted Blood" and "Hate Worldwide" and then went into the entire "Seasons in the Abyss" album. It was awesome. They also played "Raining Blood" "South of Heaven" and "Angel of Death".
Great show. It was nice to know that Metal can still fill the house and these guys I watched 25 years ago and still play.
