The GOP may even go so far as to win back Congress yet not one substantive conservative agenda item will be enacted save a tax break for the super rich. First trimester abortions will still be legal, gay marriage will continue to gain acceptance, don't ask don't tell will be repealed, illegals will still continue to brown up the southwest...

I grew up a Republican. My dad is still a Republican and most of my aunts and uncles are too. I even voted for Reagan in 84. By 88 I had seen enough of Reagan to know that his bullshit about limited government was nothing more than a cover for their anti-liberty, steal from the poor and give to the rich agenda. Now, the Dems aren't a whole lot better than the GOP, but they are better.
