Thanks for representing, C-USA
What a bad night. I kinda knew Marshall was going to get their asses whacked by the tOSU, but Southern Miss' lackluster performance against South Carolina was very disappointing.
Tulane beat a nobody, so that doesn't count. Houston better do everything they can to get into the MWC, because if these non-conference games go the way they did last night for C-USA, then they will forever be known as a shitty mid-major conference.

Re: Thanks for representing, C-USA
i was a little surprised Fedora's Southern Miss offense didn't do more against S. Carolina.

Same here. They've loads of talent on that side of the ball and fell flat on their face last night. Fedora didn't have those boys ready to play. What a shame.

Re: Thanks for representing, C-USA
Well So Miss needed TD's instead of FG;s early in the game...plus you consider they are driving late for a score and fumble...14 pt swing right there...So Car scored shortly thereafter...
Re: Thanks for representing, C-USA
It was poor execution to say the least and I was hopeful them (So Miss) and Marshall would've erased some of the criticism the C-USA has received over the recent years.
Still lots of OOC games against BTPFC schools to silence the critics. I'm hopeful.

Fuck his conference, fuck all conferences.
The day you see me propping a conference is the day I'll think MGMT rocks.
I've got ONE dog in this hunt. Just one, you confused, conference cocksucking whore.
Have you decided which dog is yours yet?

Re: Thanks for representing, C-USA
It's easy for you to say this now when Mizzou wanted to ride Nebraska's coattail into the BigTen. That almost cost you your slot in an almost erased Big XII which would've left you joining a mid-major yourself. Then, your perspective would've completely changed on how the conference your "dog" plays in is viewed by the masses.War Wagon wrote:Fuck his conference, fuck all conferences.
C-USA doesn't have the respect of the MWC right now, but they are working towards that same level. Any OOC win against a deece BPTFC school is a step in the right direction, Wags.
Just be happy and stop being a douche for once.

Re: Thanks for representing, C-USA
Oh yes it would.
Your school goes 11-1 and you start cheerleading for a BCS invite, but everyone tells ya, "Your conference is weak. You have to go 12-0 and outscore every opponent by fifty touchdowns in order for an invite to play with the big boys."
Trust me, you'd start pumping your conference like you pump other men.

I don't know about any of that, but I'd say if Houston were able to run the table and beat the likes of SMU, UCF, and Tehc soundly, then that oughtta be enough to get 'em at least a 9-seed in the Tournament.Go Coogs' wrote:Oh yes it would.

insofar as it's permitted (it isn't), i really liked the fedora-gundy 0 at OK State. so, i'm kind of pulling for Fedora...but, they stunk out loud.Go Coogs' wrote:Same here.
