Fearless Forecasts 2010

Post by Yer a Fuckin Jerkoff »

make your picks here

AFC EAST

Miami - They served notice to the rest of the division by signing Marshall, and they drafted defense. Strong running game. I like them here

New England- Not a playoff team, but formidable enough at times to put up big scores against shitty teams. That's how they roll. Unfortunately for them, the other teams in this division don't suck as much anymore. Their D is young and easy to exploit, and they have zero ground game. The only time they won SBs was when the defense was solid and they had reliable running backs. Now they have neither, so now they're fucked.

NY Jets - I take a steamy dump all over this overrated team. I'm not buying the hype and I hope they crash and burn. I've never seen the media suck so much dick over a team that got two gimme wins at the end of the year to reach the playoffs. And shut up about how great the defense is. They got rolled up in the playoffs by SD and IND. Shonn Greene's durability is unproven too. 7-9.

Buffalo They suck ass. Look for 2-14.

AFC North

Baltimore- Best team in the AFC by far. They are loaded this year and everything Ozzie Newsome touches turns to gold. They have all the ingredients of a SUper Bowl team.

Pittsburgh they rarely miss the playoffs two years in a row. As long as they can break even in the games that Ben misses, they will be well on their way. Troy is back and even though the o-line still blows ass, they got Pouncy in the draft and that'll help.

Cincinnati- Bwahahaha! Like the Jets, the took the AFC by surprise, but they won't do that this year since things are expected of them. They ALWAYS fukk up in years like this when people are picking them to do something big. And hwo come Carson Palmer doesn't have to answer the "why can't you win a playoff game" question. He's a choker.

Cleveland- They could be a spoiler late in the year, but I think Mangini is sucking some dick to keep his job there. Their leading WR had 34 catches this year. Ooooo look out for the Browns! 4-12.

AFC South

Indianapolis- I don't think the Super Bowl hangover thing will happen, but I DO think that if Caldwell gets exposed it will be this year. Still, they have gonzalez and Sanders back so watching them go 10-0 to start the season would be the norm. But, none of that matters if they don't win it all. Seriously ...they need to win it all or it's a failure of a year.

Houston- This team has really arrived and I'm buying into it. Who cares if they are average on the ground, they can light up the scoreboard and I really like them to win the wild card. First ever playoff appearance for the Texans!

Tennessee- This is the kind of team that the Colts hate having in the division because they pound you in the cock and make life miserable for everyone. Chuck Cecil better get his shit together because the Tits were 28th ranked on D last year. The Titans need to figure a way to be more than a one-man show on offense

Jacksonville- No matter how they start, it doesn't matter, because Jack Del Rio smokes cock in December. Can his ass.

AFC West

Denver- They beefed up the d-line with some key free agent signings, plus Orton is now eased into the system on offense. i just like the feel of this team. Put Tebow in some Wildcat formations and you've got an exciting offense.

San Diego- This is the year that things unravel. They have lots of talent and Pro Bowlers, but too many whiny little pussies on this team and a douchebag for a head coach. Plus, Rivera has his hands full with that weak defensive front.

Oakland- I saw them look scary in a couple wins last year, but for some reason they just can't ever stay consistant. Horrible offensive line and a bullshit running game. They will probably barely stay out of the cellar just because KC sucks even worse.

Kansas City- Haley has that clueless look on his face all the time, and I know they can run the ball and shit but Scott Mitchell is average at best and that defense sucks hairy elephant balls. Look for them to be a joke this year, even at Arrowhead. And those two fat fuck coaches they hired are worthless too.

NFC EAST

Dallas- They added more young talent in the draft to an already-stifling defense. The offense boasts the best RB trio in the NFL as well as the best TE trio in the NFL. And even if you try to cover those players, Romo just goes downfield to Dez before you can scratch your balls. Far and away the best team in the East.

Philadelphia- The eagles defense is going to be awesome this year and there should be some good battles between them and the Cowboys . The only thing that is a huge question mark is how they will do at the RB position. Lots of pressure on McCoy. But the offensive philosophy stays the same and they will be solid all around.

New York Giants- every OTHER year the Giants surprise people, and Coughlin stomps around and somehow gets these bitches to play up. I don't know how he does it. But this year they will do it again and make the playoffs.

Washington- They add to many random big name players that don't fit instead of focusing on drafting linemen to give them depth and youth. Once McNabb misses 4-5 games, they are truly fucked.

NFC North

MinnesotaThis is essentially the same team. Yeah, Childress blows but even without Harvin, they probably will sign TJ or maybe Javon Walker and Favre makes guys like that look like Hall of Famers. They shouldn't miss a beat this year.

Green Bay Disappointing team of the year. Everyone is blowing thick loads all over them and putting them in the SB, but remember- 4 of their 10 wins came at the hands of the two bottom-feeders in the North. And they also beat the Rams, Browns, and Seahawks. Kind of a fraud team. 8-8 this year and they will get swept again by Favre

Detroit The Nate Burleson signing was great, as was Julian Peterson last year, and they had maybe the best draft in the NFL. Any coincidence that these moves are happening right after fuckbag Millen leaves? Look for the Lions to make some noise.

Chicago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yd4XiNKGew

NFC South

Carolina- Every year, a different team wins this division. This year will be no different. The Panthers have an improved D and the best running back tandem in NFL history.

Atlanta- a soft, pussy defense but a pretty nice attacking offense. They will go 9-7 or 8-8 and miss the playoffs because they are too soft and faggoty and don't belong there.

New Orleans- the NFL's 25th ranked defense won't get a bunch of lucky turnovers this year and refs who were licking Tom Benson's ballsack like last year. Hopefully the Madden curse takes place Thursday night and Brees can talk about "karma" and how "we deserve" to win every Super Bowl until him and Vicoden-peddling Sean Payton retire just because a Hurricane assfucked N.O. about five years ago. And be sure to sit out the last couple games to preserve your 70% completion percentage, dick drip.

Tampa Bay- I see no reason for them to finish greater than last place

NFC West

San Francisco- that's right, I'm buying into it. All they need to do is finish 8-8 or even 7-9 and the division is theirs. If not, FIRE SINGLETARY. No excuse not to win this shit division. I don't care if you have injuries.

Seattle- The addition of Okung will help for the future, but they lack running backs and the defense is inconsistent. 5-11 or so.

Arizona - These guys are going to fucking blow. Joey Porter will melt down and it will end badly. 4-12

St Louis Just when you think that the West can't suck any more, then you remember that the RAMS are here  God, what a shitbag division. More proof that Singletary needs to go back to Gold's Gym and coach people there if his team chokes away this golden opportunity to make the playoffs. The Rams suck ass.

AFC wild cards- Texans, Steelers

NFC wild cards- Giants, Eagles (NFC East is simply the best division in football)

AFC title game- Ravens over Dolphins

NFC title game- Cowboys over Panthers

Super Bowl XLV- Dallas over Baltimore in Big D

and feel free to criticize my picks but at least have the balls to make your own picks first.

You honestly believe three teams out of the NFC East will make the playoffs? The division is weak as hell this year, I can easily see 9-7 winning the division. The Eagles have a lot of question marks, the 'Girls are incredibly overhyped (as always) and the Giants have a lot to prove after completely shitting the bed to finish the last season. The Skins will be lucky to go 7-9.

I do, and I have sounds reasoning to back it up. On top of what I said favorably about all three of those squads, notice how the NFC North favored two teams last year. Why? Because they had the benefit of playing the NFC West. Meanwhile, the South, which was projected to have two teams going in, only fielded one, because the NFC East as usual kicked the shit out of the NFC South.

This year, the NFC East will play the NFC North, and they will kick the living dogshit of them. The Packers won't have the benefit of cakewalking over Seattle, Rams, etc. nor is Detroit going to be easy. Hell, the Packers' first game is AT Philly. Nice little eye-opener there.

The only other team that could logically make a wild card from another division would be Atlanta, but they are a bunch of pussies who aren't tough like the NFC East teams.

Believe it or not but Eagles fans aren't expecting much out of Kolb and the Eagles this year. I've already said 8-8, maybe 9-7 if they get lucky. I don't think Kolb is as bad as he was against the Ravens and I don't think he's as good as he was against the Saints and Chiefs. Somewhere in the middle equates to a QB who'll throw a lot of yards but have a high TD/INT ratio.

AFC

East
New England - Find a way to get it done again, Brady should be better than last season.

Miami - Hard nosed tough football team that seems to have the jets number.

NY Jets - Laughed my ass off when I read this & pretty much agree, they won't surprise anyone this season: I take a steamy dump all over this overrated team. I'm not buying the hype and I hope they crash and burn. I've never seen the media suck so much dick over a team that got two gimme wins at the end of the year to reach the playoffs. And shut up about how great the defense is. They got rolled up in the playoffs by IND. 7-9.

Buffalo - Should be handing out purple drank to fans at the turnstile.

North
Baltimore - Looks like the overall best team here.

Pittsburgh - Roethlisberger's suspension knocks them down a notch

Cincinnati - Not going to surprise anyone, Palmer still isn't back to his pre-injury form & stinks

Cleveland - Should be handing out purple drank to fans at the turnstile.

South
Indianapolis - Like the Patriots they have experience & a great QB

Houston - Will do good if Schaub the porcelain doll can stay in one piece

Tennessee - Hard nosed football team with a great coach, could finish second here

Jacksonville - Too many holes

West
San Diego - Could be set up for the fall. Still can't run block and passing game will be shorted up. Rivers is still the class of the division at QB.

Kansas City - Very well could smack the Bolts on opening day and sneak in for the top spot in this divison

Denver - The loss of talents like Marshall & Dumervil hurts

Oakland - After a couple of bad breaks happen, they'll fall apart like usual when Al starts to undermine the coaching staff.

Wildcards: Pittsburgh, Houston

AFC Championship
Baltimore over New England

NFC

East
Dallas - Perhaps the most talented in the division

NY Giants - Bounce back year

Washington - Holes on offense

Philadelphia - Oline stinks, Kolb will have some growing pains

North
Green Bay - Last years up & commer is ready for the top spot.

Minnesota - No way they play as well as last season

Detroit - Building for the future

Chicago - Another Mike Martz disaster

South
Atlanta - Solid team

New Orleans - Everybody, has them circled on the calendar

Carolina - Down year

Tampa Bay - Building for the future

West
San Francisco - Solid, but unspectacular at QB. Can Smith win a tough game on the road?

Seattle - A 2nd place finish in the weakest division

St. Louis - Building for the future

Arizona - Derek Anderson is more turnover machine, than a Kurt Warner

Wildcards: NY Giants, New Orleans

NFC Championship
Green Bay over Dallas

Super Bowl
Green Bay over Baltimore

AFC East:

Dolphins - Just a hunch. Things have been quiet in Parcellsland...too quiet.

Patriots - Qestions all over the defense, but Brady, Inc. too good on offense.

Jets - Loudmouthed, shit talking bitches never win anything. They've gone backwards on offense and their defense didn't get any better and took a kick in the nuts with the loss of Calvin Pace.

Bills - Just bloody awful.

AFC West:

Chargers - Still the best team in a shit division. La dee fuckin da. Will fold in the playoffs as usual.

Broncos - They have the second best QB in the division and a half ass defense.
Raiders - No, Raitard. Drafting Rolando McCoon doesn't matter when you trade Kirk Morrison for an apple and a comic book. All you've done is tread water. On the other side of the ball is, arguably, the most feeble offense in professional sports. No receivers, running backs whose legs have the tensile strength of peppermint sticks and a QB who isn't nearly as awful as JaFlabsteak yet still sucks a burlap potato sack full of donkey dicks.

Chiefs - I just kinda laugh....next.

AFC North

Bengals - A pretty solid D and the offense added a shitload of weapons. No excuses for this team.

Ravens - The secondary is a total mess and the pass rush is a shadow of its former self. The offense will have to carry the load. They should be up to it more often than not.

Steelers - Dennis Dixon? Um...yeah. Better luck next year. Maybe Ben can manage an offseason without raping anybody.

Browns - Not a good team...at all.

AFC South:

Colts - Peyton Manning, 12 wins blah, blah, blah

Texans - Flashy offense and a pretty good team that just seems to lose way too many games they should win. They'll find a way to do it again this year.

Titans - Nobody wants to play this team. They know they aren't going anywhere. They will come out and punch you in the face, kick you in the balls and gouge your eyes just for spite.

Jaguars - Who gives a fuck?

Wild Cards - Patriots, Ravens

Conf Champ - Colts

NFC East:

Giants - Defensive line rebounds in a big way. Manning will steady a so so offense.

Cowboys - Shitloads of talent, shit loads of playoff failure. See Chargers...

Eagles - Too much youth to win this year but headed in the right direction.

Redskins - McNabb is an upgrade but too much overall suck to make a jump.

NFC West:

Niners - They will be too afraid of their psycho coach to fail. I see the makings of a brutally smashmouth team.

Cardinals - .....well somebody has to finish second.

Seahawks - Suck

Rams - Suck worse than the Seahawks

NFC South:

Falcons - Got jammed by injuries last year but not a bad team at all.

Panthers - Great rushing will keep them in games, but not much to write home about.

Buccaneers - A complete mess

Saints - Hopefully their plane will fly into a mountain forcing the handful of survivors into cannibalism before their frozen remains are found.

NFC North:

Vikings - Defense is too tough. Offense is good enough.

Packers - Pinball offense with a dickless defense that was totally exposed when they weren't beating up on bottom feeding tomato cans last year.

Lions - Hey, this is progress.

Bears - Shitty offensive line + Mike Martz = Dead Gay Cuntler * (interceptions/2). Oh yeah, the defense is old and sucks balls.

Wildcards - Cowboys, Packers

Conference champ - Giants

Superbowl (yes, it will be nauseating) Giants v Colts. Eli will leave a mushroom stamp on Peyton's forehead.

Maybe because he's only played in two playoff games, one of which he was knocked out of on the first offensive series. It's fair to question CP's big time credentials, I know I do, but the playoff question? Not so much.

Re: Fearless Forecasts 2010

Post by Shine »

AFC East:

New England- still the class of this division
Miami- solid but not spectacular squad
NY Jets- they were a 9-7 team last year that got hot (and lucky, thanks 14-0 Colts) to even make the playoffs. Sanchez does not impress, I'm not sold.
Buffalo- big bag of suck

AFC North:

Cincinnati- keep everything about this team that swept their division last year the same except the name "Bengals" and replace that with "Steelers", "Colts", "Chargers", etc and everyone would be talking Super Bowl. But they have the history of the Bungles making everyone write last year off as a fluke. It wasn't. Their D is LEGIT and at the end of last year they were playing without Odom (for actually the bulk of the year) and Maualuga who are both back. Only poptart can predict injuries so assuming their D stays healthy they have a top 5 defense. They added several weapons on offense plus last years #1 OL Tits Smith will be around all year to bolster the O-line. Again any other team coming off a 10-6 campaign that got notably better would be getting SB run.
Baltimore*- will miss Ed Reed more than most are expecting, but still a solid team.
Pissburgh- fuck you Rapelisberger.
Cleveland- Answer: not much. Question: what can the Browns do for you?

AFC South:

Indy- see NE.
Tenn*- a full year of VY under center will have the team that was as hot as anyone the last half of the season last year back in the playoffs.
Houston- will finish right around .500 again.
Jax- Jack Del Rio the owner would like to see you in his office please.

AFC West:

Kansas City- every year a team comes from seemingly out of nowhere and my hunch play is that KC is that team this year. The division is mediocre at best. Cassell is more established and they upgraded the ground game big time IMO with the addition of T-Jones. The D is frisky enough to keep things interesting and I think 9-7 can take this division.
San Diego- Norv finally takes this team into the toilet.
Oakland- almost made my cut for the out of nowhere team and I still expect great improvement.
Denver- see Buffalo.

NFC East:

Dallas- not nearly as dominant as many think but good enough for 10-6 and a division crown.
NY Giants*- another hunch play here but I think the Giants start to resemble their SB winning form.
Washington- at least McNabb can look down in the standings to find his former team.
Philly- Kolb takes control and the Eagles crash and burn.

NFC North:

Green Bay- drinking the kool-aid here.
Minnesota- too many injuries already.
Detroit- Lions are on their way up, Stafford to Calvin could be a great duo for years to come.
Chicago- thanks Buffalo for ensuring they aren't the worst team in the league.

NFC South:

New Orleans: breaks the curse of no back to back division winners.
ATL*- like Matt Ryan, hate the Matty Ice nickname.
Carolina- great ground game but not much to go with it.
TB- should switch back to the old peach colored uni's until they stop playing like the 70's Bucs.

NFC West:

San Fran- Could be poised for a bye thanks to crappy division.
Seattle- hunch play here
Arizona- they may start flying guys to Warner's house to try and convince him to come back as early as week 3.
STL- look on the bright side, winning 3 games is an upward trend.

Wild Card Round:
AFC- Baltimore over KC, NE over Tenn
NFC- NO over NYG, Dallas over ATL

Divisonal Round:
AFC- Indy over Baltimore, Cincy over NE
NFC- GB over Dallas, NO over San Fran

Conference Title:
AFC- Indy over Cincy
NFC- GB over NO

Super Bowl:

Indy over Green Bay

The more I look at the NFC East the more I think its over rated. Every team in that division has issues on its oline.
This much we do know, the NFC East is a steaming pile of dog shit.

Tony Romo will now forever be known as chuck & duck.

The Giants Oline is a sieve

Michael Vick is the best QB in Philly, the entire team played better when he was in the game for good, as if they believed in him more than cock kolber. This is a case of careful what you wish for, as Philly fan ran Donovan out of town. Who's next, Andy Reid?

The Redskins have nobody to catch the ball other than Moss & Cooley, their RB's qualify for AARP, the wheels will come off before the season is over. To the skins credit they played with more intensity than Dallas, who I thought looked flat and somewhat disinterested. That type of effort was good enough last year, but isn't anymore.

You are bordering on Paul's level of stupidity. Why do you think the offense moved the ball better with Vick?

As for Kolb, you'd be surprised to know that most fans are not sold on this guy at all. Yes the fan base was tired of the same old from McNabb (who, incidently played OK for the Skins.. ) and the same sentiment is going on with Reid and so anything above a .500 season will be something of a miracle. The team is young and going to make mistakes but I believe Mvs said it best - the team is heading in the right direction.

Because Vick does a better Carl Lewis impersonation than corn kolb, something that will come in handy with their Oline.

So you think Capers has the same defensive game-plan in place if Michael Vick was the starting QB?

While I see your point, I can also see Vick passing better if he has the starting reps that went to Kolb. What really pushes Vick over the top for me is how much better the entire Eagle team looked when Vick was in for good. If the team doesn't believe in Kolb, he's finished.

Kolb didn't even play one single half of football, you stupid tard. Jesus Christ. I'd also point out that Vick didn't do jackshit either when he was spliting snaps with Kolb in the first half.

Platooning QBs is stupid. All it does is prevent either QB from getting into the flow of the game.

They sure do in Fatsas City. The Bolts have no chance of winning the division now and FC is going to the Superbowl no doubt about it.

Why would Reid platoon his QB's if Kolb is his guy? Three possible reasons might be:

1. Andy Reid is a tard (mvscal should be the coach) :cue steaming pile of shit:
2. The Oline sucks
3. Kolb isn't his guy, his hand was forced into trading McNabb by ownership.

The bottom line for me is:
How much better the entire Eagle team looked when Vick was in for good
.

That fact is undeniable, and has me questioning whether the team believes in Kolb.

You do know that Kolb played a few games as a starter prior to the game against the Packers right? What kind of numbers did he put up? Doesn't he have some kind of record -- something about first player in NFL history to throw for over 300 yards in his first 2 NFL starts? Kolb is no where as bad as he was against the Packers and more likely somewhere in between what you saw last sunday and the QB that put up big numbers against the Chiefs and Saints.

As I said previously and you agreed with to some degree is that Vick is such a different QB than Kolb and when you game-plan for a pocket passer and have to play the second half against a scrambling QB it's not unheard of to see an offense move the ball with better results. Over the long haul will Vick really move this offense any better? I really doubt it.

He didn't come off the bench. In fact he started the previous week against the Saints too. McNabb had a broken rib and missed a few weeks.

Of course there isn't much film on Kolb either, once there is things will get tougher, not easier later in the season, as defenses start trying to take away some of the things he does well. Add that with a problematic Oline, impatient Philly Fan, & Kolb is fucked.

Yea, let's hear some m,ore you stupid fuck. If your dumbass could fucking read, you would know that I said Indy needed to be knocked out by San Diego for B-more to make it. This is the problem with dumbfucks like yourself. you are so anxious to try and rip someone like me that you make an ass of yourself and are too stupid to know it.

What's even stupider about your crack is that it implies that I am an idiot for coming correct and saying that my ravens don't match up against Indy well. THEY NEVER HAVE YOU FUCKING MORON. If you also paid attention, your stupid ass would know that my predictions are largely based on predicting home field and then how those match ups may come out. Did I say I was on The Colts wagon now fucktard? NO. Learn how to read ya fucking moron. You're incredibly stupid my friend, give it a rest because you are clearly too stupid to be trying to go toe to toe with me.

At least you remembered I am a ravens and panthers fan, thanks for the love twatboy.

Where is Baltimore's dick by the way? Is that like The Gateway Arch? I have never seen it before. Please let me know because I am sure you have all of the biggest cocks, tagged on your wall map of the world. I would surely like to avoid the shower of city spew you bathe in.
