1. Is Kevin Kolb ready for his close-up in Philadelphia?

No - The Eagles can't run the ball and that defense didn't scare many teams last year.
Expect a lot of 27-24 type losses
What the fuck does that have to do with Kolb? If they suck, it won't be because of him.

He's had three years in the system. He will make quicker reads and more accurate throws than McNubb did, so he is an upgrade. The running game is irrelevant since Reid is perfectly content to throw it 65% of the time. The defense will cost them games and I don't see them finishing anything better than third place in that division, but Kolb should have an excellent stat line.

I'll call my shot and say he finishes with about 4,000 yards and 28TDs. Dude hunts wild boar with nothing but a pack of dogs and a Bowie knife so I think he will handle pressure pretty well.

4. Can the Redskins still move the unmovable Albert Haynesworth?

Fucking douchebag. It would be hilarious to see him in Oakland

5. Is Jason Campbell the next Jim Plunkett or Rich Gannon in Oakland or merely another Kerry Collins or Jeff George?

Better than JaDrankus - but with No line or receivers it's 5-11
Before Oakland signed John Henderson, I considered Haynesworth -----> Oakland a possibility.
Now, I really don't.

I think Campbell will do "better" in '11 than he will in '10.
Get a year to settle in with a new team and a really young group of receivers.
Oakland also drafted two promising O-Linemen who hopefully can become fixtures by '11.
I suspect the whole thing will look better in '11 than it will this year, although Campbell will surely be better than JaWalrus was ... right now.

I won't make a record prediction for the Raiders until they play a couple of pre-season games, but I think Campbell's numbers in '10 (assuming he plays all 16 games) will look something like this:

60% completions
3200 yds
18 TDs, 14 INTs
80.0 QB rating

Losses to Falcons, @ Titans and Ravens in first 4 week = 1 & 3 start.
Worse, Ben has lost this team as leader.
Look for him to be moved before the trade deadline if not end of camp
You're out of your fucking mind. Ben doesn't go anywhere. Two time Super Bowl winning QBs don't grow on trees and the Rooneys know that better than most. It took 22 years to find someone capable of eclipsing Bradshaw's passing records. You think that they are going to toss him to the curb for this? Get real. If Ben ain't playing it Pittsburgh it will be because he fucked up again. Which will mean that he's unemployable anywhere in the NFL.

With the receivers the Eagles have I think that's a fair stat line. Last year the Eagles played without their true MILB and if he's fully recovered from his ACL injury, Bradley could be in the Pro-Bowl. Ernie Simms is either going to be really good or turn out to be another Dhani Jones. The sleeper of the group is Daryl Tapp. He's another undersized pass rusher that could help keep Trent Cole fresh towards the end of the season. Their secondary is still weak though so I see them battling for 2nd in their division and fighting for the last Wild Card slot.

I some how missed this thread. While Scott won't hit on all his takes, he'll nail some. Thoughtful & well written, he must of been drunk, or I am now.

Good stuff.
