BTW -- The bridge you see in the background with the big green arch is the Freemont. If'n I'm not mistaken, the center span is still the largest object mankind has ever lifted...

which was a very odd way to build a bridge all those years ago. Built the ends, then built the center span in the river, then got a bunch of barges with cranes on them, then lifted the crazy thing up and bolted it in.
