Are you really surprised?

Post by Harvdog »

Once a bitch.....always a bitch.

Texas played great defense. Average offense today but we caught the Corn trying for the big play and used their speed against them with a sloth footed QB.

NU was up for this game......they made a video about it......the bitched about :01....they wore wrist bands and t-shirts about this game.....they were ranked #5......and they still lost to mean 'ol Texas who is the overlord of the Big XII :meds:

Way to sack up. It is going to suck for you in the Big 10.

We played like shit against UCLA and had a bad first half against OU. I knew there was no way we could lose 3 straight. I love the fact that we did it in Lincoln. I wonder if Tom will come out and admit that Texas is his daddy? 9-1 against Nebraska and 4-0 in Lincoln.....not bad!

Tom was 5-12 against Barry Switzer, but NU fan likes to pretend that never happened.

used to being the bitch.

it's the typical "North puffing their chest cause they're having a good season thus far..and then the south fucking showing them what the FUCK is up." routine.

Nebraska fan this week...Mizzou fan next week.

But we definitely have you in our crosshairs. SOMEBODY's season will take a definite turn south next weekend.

NU has beaten a ranked team recently. 3 last year - Missouri, OU and Arizona. What you're thinking of is not beating a top 10 team, which NU hasn't done since 2001 when they beat OU.

Edit

*Corrected* Thanks Large.

Although a victory over the Sooners doesn't remove the realm of possibility of Mizzou crackin' the Top 10...

Yeah, I know he had a horrible record against Barry, but ended up being pretty much even against OU.

It's really rich that OU fans, of all people, are piling on. You guys had a decade where you were mediocre: the 90s. Funny how you guys act like that never happened either. It took you guys 13 years to get over Switzer.

Even funnier is how you Losers look to your Past to justify the Present.

Well, they (Nebraska) haven't beaten a team ranked higher than 20 since 2001, either, so I'm not holding my breath that we'll break that.

Wrong. Kansas was ranked #3 when we squared off against them for the Border War back in '07. Better dig up a Sooners tee somewhere Loser, just in case KC's trend proves true...

No, no Large... Thank YOU!

One more reason to think we might actually have a chance in Lincoln. You know, with Nebraska bein' all back 'n junk....

OU fan isn't piling on, and we don't act like it ever happened. i can hook you up on Sooner boards if you want. no one pretends Blake or Gibbs didn't happen.

what IS funny how NU fan has double-timed beating Texas as a principle and the "moral" win you think you get. and it doesn't happen at all.

maybe, you guy ought to respect more how OU has played Texas for 100 years.

Yea I'm surprised, Harv...... surprised that 4 touchdown passes were dropped, 9 passes overrall were dropped most of which were breadbasket passes a 7th grade receiver would have caught easily. I'm surprised that NU fumbled inside their own 20. I'm not surprised by the shit calls against Nebraska, though. It's part of the big 12 farewell committee's plans for Nebraska this year.

T.Martinez might have looked like a freshman qb for the first time this year, but you have to credit the Texas coaches for devising a scheme that stonewalled him. Texas had the athletes to do that. Martinez threw the ball well enough to win this game but he was unable to do anything about the miscues by the receivers...TD passes....dropped...4 times.

Nebraska should have won this comfortably but they didn't. Props again to Texas. The week off really helped them I'm sure. Texas has the athletes to win out from here so I don't know why everyone keeps saying they suck.

Niles Paul must have gotten a fat check from some Texas oilman.....damn...unbelievable.

Given that Nebraska beat themselves on offense and that the D played well considering, I'm not to concerned from here on out. A Big 12 title and a BCS victory isn't a bad note to leave the conference on.

Props to Texas once again...you own us.

Nebraska receivers have been dropping and fumbling balls left and right for the last couple of years. I know you wanna claim they just gave the game away but that it something they do on a regular basis.
