I beg to differ. Colorado is a mediocre-to-halfway-decent team with a handful of talented players on both sides of the ball. They've managed to scratch their way to a .500 record in spite of their coaching, which does, in fact, REALLY suck. If Hawk is still coaching by the time they roll into Lincoln, it could get ugly, but if Bohn grows a pair and does what he should've done a year ago, I think the Buffs have a puncher's chance to end our little non-rivalry on a high note.

It wasn't a conspiracy theory. It was the simple fact NU thought it was big fish in little pond in the Big 8 even though your claim to fame coach was the bitch to OU. Then when the XII was formed, you went from REALITY #2 to #4 even though in your own minds you were still #1. And when I say REALITY, I refer to $$$. t.u., OU and A&M bring in more $$$ to the XII than NU. Hell, I think Okie St. brings in more than NU, but I'm not gonna look it up.

I was thinking the same thing. For as much as tu fans like to pound their chests about how much revenue they bring into the conference, there's not that great of a disparity there.

It also makes me wonder why KU was getting left out in the cold when all the superconference discussion was being bandied about. They have one of the elite hoops programs in the country and they're 30 minutes from KC, which isn't a gigantic market, but it's not exactly small potatoes either. Don't feel like looking it up, but it's gotta be bigger than Lincoln/Omaha or OKC/Norman, right? Or does KC lean more towards Mizzou, despite the proximity to Lawrence?

Actually as far metro media markets go Kansas City is only very slightly a larger market than central Oklahoma. Less than a 150,000 difference. Oklahoma City's market is also growing at almost twice the pace as Kansas City's (12.06% a decade > 6.24% a decade).

I never realized how much growth the state of Utah has had over the last decade. The 2 highest percentage increases on that list were Provo and St. George, UT other than Palm Coast, FL.

Most of the cities with decreased population are in cooler winter climates which means there are a lot of pussies in this country!
