Oklahoma defended it much better than Wake. Great throw by Fryer.

What was up with that lateral by Nebraska? Why on earth did he throw it into the ground? A football takes weird bounces.

Who cares? It was before you were born, so it's irrelevant, right?

he and Tom Rathman had some good NFL careers with the Niners. ironic a bit that Rozier won the Heisman and USFL'd his career. my pops always said Craig was the better back.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but that was Irving Fryar #27 throwing to Mitch Krenk. That play was right towards where I was sitting in the south endzone. I remember it bouncing out to the flat and seeing Krenk running right towards us. Fryar did throw a nice ball.
I also remember Krenk had a toe on his right foot amputated in the off season due to what was called cancer at the time. He went on to play for the Bears.

huh. my instinct and memory was that it was Fryer. but, the NU announcer says it's Craig. so i went with that.
