Little help here

Post by Dinsdale »

So my BTPCFB Fliends...

Let's pick some late games for a parlay card (parlay bets suck, but will make the evening more fun).

Since any advice I get from you fags isn't likely to warrant more than a $2 investment, lert's come up with a bunch of games.

Rumor has it that Jake Locker has the flu or some shit, and Arizona seems to be seeing plenty of action downstairs... I've heard the words "no-brainer" tossed around, at -6.5 (I believe they don't move the lines on parlay cards, but I'll bet the money line starts moving later).

So I'm taking Zona for starters.

Choices are:

Miami -6.5 over N.Carolina
South Carolina -12.5 over Vandy
AssToMouth -13.5 over Kansass
MissSt -19.5 over Alabama Birmingham
Oklahomos -3.5 over Mistakery
Bama -16.5 over Tenn
GEO -3.5 over Kentucky
FresnoSt -19.5 over San Jose St
TCU -18.5 over Chair Force
UTEP -10.5 over Tulane
San DiegoSt -23.5 over Ron Mexico

Discuss... while I drink and get well lubed for the evening games while I still have my peace and quiet.

i like S Carolina and Bama.

i do think all things being equal, Mizzou is a pretty good bet tonight. but as a "bet" i think taking them to win outright is a pretty good gamble.

I like the 'Canes, only because UNC's program is a train wreck.

And you won't go to the poor house betting against Kansas. Even against aTm.

i know, but Tennessee sucks
Tenn lost to UO by a million and Florida by 14 in Knoxville. there is precedent for double digit losses at home for the Vols. what i didn't know was UT was off last week so two weeks to prepare. Bama has been good against the spread minus the L at USC.

A little late to the party, but the game that jumped out at me (using the lines supplied in the Pick'Em) was Maryland + 5.5 @ Boston College. Fredo just sucks, plain and simple. Unless they're getting a buncha points (as in two touchdowns or more), it's tough to go wrong betting against them.
