Hey Sooners
Though I did enjoy watching your loss to the Mizzou Tigers, I thought I would invite some of you over to my pad. You all can drink heavily and recall the glory years and all that, but I just need some of you to help me install my new shower rod. See, as a Texas fan today was tough. We lost to Iowa State at home and it wasn't even as close as the final score showed. I have no idea how Texas will even become bowl eligible and to make matters worse for all of us just when you thought it couldn't be any worse, Baylor is all alone at the top of the Big 12 South standings. So grab an 18 pack of whatever is on sale and get over here. Hopefully I can figure out the shower rod instructions for when you get here.

Re: Hey Sooners
not even close really. losing to a very good MU team on the road is not fun but it's hardly curtain rod material. losing to ISU at home coming off a program rejuvenating win in Lincoln....much worse. more nuances, OU fisted ISU the week before they dominated Texas at the LOS.

This season is already pretty well a success by my expectations coming in. OU lost three of the top four NFL draft picks last season. We're starting something like 16 freshman and sophomores. With our schedule and the way we have pulled out games I am pleasantly surprised. Anyone who really thought we were steam rolling to title #8 this season was delusional.

Next year we are going to be dangerous, and if the NFL doesn't have a labor agreement by declaration date and Broyles comes back we are going to REALLY DANGEROUS!Sudden Sam wrote:Gotta agree. Y'all have played a tough schedule and I figured the Sooners were a year away from a legit run at the BCS title.SunCoastSooner wrote: This season is already pretty well a success by my expectations coming in. BTW, I put the board on notice last year to watch out for Roy Finch in Crimson and Cream and if you've seen us play he last two weeks you should understand why by now. He is going to be the next GREAT Sooner runningback in a long line of them, Records are going to be broken barring injury.
