Felix, Cross Traffic...
MSU inked a two-for-one deal with Boise, and will open the 2012 season against them at home. Pretty sweet. Could make it a little more interesting if both teams meet in the Rose Bowl this year, which is very possible.

When you give BSU a few months to prepare for their Super Bowl, they can be a handful...
or so I hear.

well, probably not now after Michigan State's thumping at the hands of Iowa....the first game is a pretty nice payday for Boise State ($1,200,000).....the weird thing about that contract is the second game (a BSU home game) isn't scheduled til 2022, which would mean Boise's starting QB at that time would currently be a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grader???? maybe SC's recruitment of a 13 year old is starting to make more senseMgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:MSU inked a two-for-one deal with Boise, and will open the 2012 season against them at home. I'm guessing MSU's thought process is that by the time the 2022 season rolls around, Boise State's stadium will be larger....
current plans call for a 10-year expansion which would increase the number of seats to around 50k....we'll see
so why won't LSU (or any other SEC team other than Ole Miss) bring them in for a "rent-a-win"? obviously boise's home and home expectations have gone out the window as evidenced by the Vtech and Ole Miss contracts....Jsc810 wrote:Props to MSU for the rent-a-win.
get out, get out while there's still time
Re: Felix, Cross Traffic...
You might see more 2 for 1 deals with Big 10 teams as they prepare scheduling for a 9 game conference season, and struggle to make deals that will keep a 7 game home schedule each year. Sounds like MSU is getting ahead of the game.
