Not sure any team's been hit with the injury bug worse than Purdue. They've been playing a 3rd string qb most of the season, 2nd string RB, etc. Still, we're talking the difference between bad and god awful.

i think Sooner fan knows something about injury bugs. anyhoo, watching KSU-Poke State.......and a lot of INT's trying to be thrown in this one. I'd like to say "Weeden sucks" but he'll play the game of his life against OU.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:Not sure any team's been hit with the injury bug worse than Purdue. and/or maybe Illinois is pretty decent. Glad I took 'em at -16.5, the play of the day so far.

They're solid. I could see them winning out and going 9-3...all 3 losses being to top 15 teams. Might see them play Northwestern at Wrigley on 11/20.War Wagon wrote:and/or maybe Illinois is pretty decent.

SMU is mine.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:

I figure when they're favored, especially at home, with the goofy U&L offense, when they get ahead, they should lay a beatdown.
That theory has got me an oh-fer on SMU this season... ain't touching them again.
I learned my KSU lesson early.
Really, I'm avoiding the ACC and Big Easy at all costs, and the B12 is no cakewalk.
So I've pretty much been sticking to the PAC and SEC, the leagues I follow the most, and seem the most predictable. And there's always some gravy to be ladeled in the mid-majors.
But I'm sure that since I'm not in Las Vegas this weekend, with wager slips everywhere you look, I'll probably be $$$$$$$ this week.

BTW -- glad too see so many went with Clemson. Not this kid -- neither team is committed to any given level of skill or ability from week-to-week...
the mark of the ACC this year.

And someone forgot to remind BC that they really suck, probably the same person who forgot to remind Clemson they're decent.

And another easy one (homerism aside) -- Oregon is a pretty deece bet at -7.5.
Not sure how much attention it got outside of PAC Country, but Chip Kelly was filled with nothing but glowing compliments for SC's roster, and in response, Lame started lobbing a bunch of insults at both Kelly and his players, with much of his roster following suit with the "locker room material," which Oregon didn't bite on.
So when the 4th quarter rolls around -- it will be the first time DuhO is going to go no-mercy, and not take a bunch of knees and intentionally run it into their lineman to keep the score down (which they've done in all but one game this year).
While nothing has been said, Oregon is going to be looking to hang a hundred on USC, and humiliate them, thanks to their big mouths.
Stay classy, Kiff.

Can you give Kelly a quick call and ask him to go for 2 a few times late in the game with a big lead? That would be awesome...especially on USC's home turf. Bury the fucking knife and twist the shit out of it. Maybe that will shut the cheating bastards up. Probably not.

Oh, not out of the question.
Chip doesn't have the best temperament to begin with, but if he perceives a slight, he goes from "aloof" to "asshole" in a heartbeat.
