Anyways, why did we run that reverse pass up 37-6 in the 4th quarter? That was a dick move. Also, why did Vandenberg not get into the game? What on earth was Stanzi still in there for? Vandenberg needs to get some reps.

Was a nice win. Much better performance by the defense. Our linebackers played much better.

I have no way of knowing but my guess is that they wanted to get a TD pass to DJK to break the record in a big way. They went back to running down the clock after that play and DJK ended up with no catches today. Agreed, it was pretty much a dick move, as I'd rather see him break the record with a meaningful catch, but I'd also like to have seen him do it at home. Unlikely that will happen now.

Also, why did Vandenberg not get into the game? What on earth was Stanzi still in there for? Vandenberg needs to get some reps.

Again, I don't know unless maybe he wasn't 100%. Agreed that he needs some reps as he'll more than likely be #1 next season. Ferentz will probably be asked that question in his post game presser.
