Matt Schaub declared dead

Post by Go Coogs' »

Texans starting left tackle Duane Brown suspended four games for PEDs.
“First off, I want to personally apologize to (owner Bob) Mr. McNair, coach (Gary) Kubiak and the rest of the coaching staff, my teammates, family and to all the great and loyal Texans fans,” Brown said in a statement. “I take full responsibility for putting myself in this situation. I unknowingly took a supplement tainted with a banned substance and now have to deal with the consequences.”
That word is getting tired. Man up and admit you're a fucking cheater.

Seems to me any supplement that can leagally be purchased at GNC shouldn't be on the NFL banned list. If in fact that is the case.

They aren't getting popped for using GNC supplements. They are getting popped for having known PED masking substances in their piss. It just so happens that one of the big things that the testing folks look for are diuretics. Which happen to be the primary component to every "fat burning" product under the sun.

This sucks. DB was really playing well. Looks like they are digging up Ephram Salam to come in for the next 4 weeks. I hope these guys are ready to play.

Desperate players on a desperate team cheating their asses off to try to get over. The league should test everybody on that team...tomorrow morning.

I'd bet at least half of them burn their piss test.

Well if Dallas decides to play that "lovely" cover 4 then you won't have to worry about it. If Wade wants to lay his sac on the field and blitz Schaub like crazy than the Boys will probably sneak a victory here.

You're a brainless tool. Two players on the same team in the same time frame get busted and you're naive or stupid enough to think they were the only ones?

Or are you attempting to deny that the Texans aren't the most desperate team in the league? How many times has your pathetic, shit sucking team come up short? How many seasons of close but no cigar frustration do you expect players to endure before they start cheating en masse to get over?

Face it tard, your whole team is juiced. It was the only way they could beat the Colts.

There's an assload of supplements that can be purchased at GNC that are on the banned list. That's why none of these assclowns should be taking anything not given to them by a nutritionist who's intimately familiar with NFL rules. And I guarantee you that every team has at least one on the payroll. Any player who gets caught is lying about "not knowing."

Hmm...now if the Texans won 2 more games in all those 8-8 seasons, maybe things would have been different for them.

Of course, 2 games does not matter. Not at all, right BSmack? :meds:

I understand 2-0 in 2 games is greater than 0-2 or 1-1.

The rest of the games are like opponents within any division.

You're assuming two automatic losses turning into two automatic wins. That's a pretty big stretch.

No, I'm assuming it is easier to have 2 wins vs. Tampa Bay and Carolina rather than Atlanta and New Orleans. While not guaranteed, if a team had to win 2 games to make it to the playoffs, which two do you think they'd rather play?

McNair orders sweep of Texans locker room for supplements

HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Texans owner Bob McNair ordered a sweep of the locker room to make sure none of his players are using banned substances.

USA Today first reported the Texans had staff members remove any products from lockers that are not approved by the NFL. Two of Houston's players -- left tackle Duane Brown and linebacker Brian Cushing -- served four-game suspensions for different violations of the league's policy on banned substances.

McNair said Friday he wanted to take a step to provide a "deterrent" for future occurrences. He says the Texans have the right to control players while they're in the team's facilities.

"We concluded that one thing we can do is to just go through the locker room and make sure that if anybody is using anything, it's a product from one of the approved manufacturers," McNair said. "That's about all that we can do."

Team spokesman Kevin Cooper said the sweep took place "about a month ago." NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the sweep "is a club matter."

The NFL Players Association did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Right now? New Orleans and Carolina would be the two teams I'd want to play in that division. Later in the season that might change. The league is too volatile to accurately predict 6 months in advance who the best matchups will be on a given week. Which is yet another reason why your "5th place schedule" theory is bullshit.

What does this article have to do with your original asinine statement, mv? Two players on the Texans squad were caught with PEDs in their piss. Brian Cushing was caught last season and Duane Brown was caught this season. That is an eye-opening one player per season average over the past two years. Oh my gosh.

Go suck on a bottle of bleach.

It means two things. First, it means that you are a clueless, dong inhaling idiot. Second it means that the owner of team agrees with me that this is not merely two "isolated incidents," but rather a team wide problem hence the shakedown of the locker room. We haven't even seen the tip of iceberg here.
