The Palace really is a nice venue. Bill Davidson did a great job maintaining the place. Despite all the shit metro Detroit as been through, it still proves to be a major economic player in the field of entertainment. Palace, Pine Knob are two of the top 10 (at least) grossest revenue venues.
I've only been to a few Palace events: Bowling Green-Mich St in late 00 and Blue Oyster Cult in 02 (I think) and a sports job fair in 05-06.

This thread is worthless without picsKC Scott wrote: First NBA game I've been to since the Kings were in KC ( and I used to date one of the Kings Glitter Girls)
Bad spelling is a diversionary tactic

Can't be surprised with a lack of effort or professionalism when the players and head coach are barking at each other. Prince and Kuester had a blow up after a recent game in front of the media.
But I'll echo the sentiments...the Palace is still a very nice arena after all these years. I wouldn't be against the Wings moving there while a new downtown arena is built after the lease with Joe isn't renewed...assuming Ilitch buys the Pistons.

Shoalz, how much money do you think Illitch is going to be able to squeeze out of Detroit? That's the only question right now...if he buys the team.
