Best Stooges album
Funhouse. Hands down.

Re: Best Stooges album
funhouse, easy.
i'm a dirty whore for loose and tv eye...1970 and LA Blues. the late Ron Asheton, very underrated rock guitarist.
the stooges: the stooges suffers from that Cale produced 7 minute chanting thing that is basically filler...and is basically a Bo Diddly beat on most of the best cuts. still great, but hey. wanna be your dog, 1969, etc.
raw power has the inexplicable Bowie production in which sounds like there's a mic in the bathroom of a 4 bedroom apartment and each of the band members are playing in a different room. kind of works sometimes and on vinyl....but, outside the obvious (search and destroy was on every movie soundtrack from about 02-06) some standout cuts for sure: gimme danger, penetration, your pretty face is going to hell (one the great misogyny songs).
