The only way to halt the initial advance of the North Korean Military would be tactical Nuclear weapons.

I posted this already on page one. I know this also to be a fact based on my Top Secret Security Cleareance in Artillery guarding the East/West German border during the cold war. In the event of a Russian attack we would have been shooting nukes in the first hour.
And since we aren't going to be launching tactical nukes at North Korea, who gives a fuck?

The answer here is quite simple. We are currently fighting two land-based wars and have the world's most powerful Navy all but sitting on the sidelines. North Korea is on a narrow peninsula that can be attacked from both sides. We sail 2 carrier battle groups over there and our destroyers, guided missle cruisers and carrier-based planes will so easily curb-stomp any North Korean advance, the only tough part will be trying not overshoot and hit each other.

It's just too bad we don't have any WW2-type battleships still in service. I'd love to see what twelve 16-inch guns could do to a million screaming NoKo slants. Just thinking about it warms the heart.
